“Dirty Dicks lived up to its name. It was dirty but not in their sense of the word.”
We went there in hopes of some great seafood. Ummmm, no. Nice building inside. Servers were not friendly at all. When asking for a food recommendation, he hardly had any except for things that cost a fortune! If I want to spend a fortune, I will go to Ruth's Chris or a five star steakhouse. Hardly anything under $20. Even the kids meal ended up being around $13 with their drink! For fried shrimp! What?! Well, the hush puppies that were complimentary was the best thing they had. However, while eating those we discovered there were ants everywhere on our table on the walls next to the table and all over us too! Aghhh! We moved to another table but no apologies or explanations or anything. Then our meal was served, but our appetizer was forgotten. We mentioned it and once again no apology or anything...nothing complimentary to make up for it. Nothing! Just bad. My spiced shrimp. Meh. Not spiced...no taste. The corn on the cob awful, couldn't eat it. The kids shrimp was peppered and too spicy for them. My husbands crab cake was good but fishy. He reeked of fish the rest of the evening. We will never go back especially for the meal to cost $70 with no alcohol drinks, desserts, or appetizers.
