My husband and I planned a weekend trip to Charleston to get away from a golf tournament that was being held in our town. We originally wanted to stay in Downtown Charleston but then discovered they were hosting a tennis tournament. We opted to stay in North Charleston and were very pleased with our choice. The room was clean and nice with a microwave and small refrigerator. The bed was somewhat comfortable but I think it might have had more to do with the pillows. We have never liked the pillows at Holiday Inn and had forgotten to bring out own, so no fault of the hotel. The only thing that bothered us was that the desk chair was much too large and you had trouble getting through because it would not push under the desk. But a minor situation. We would stay here again.
