We had a great time, we were in the Charleston area for Christmas, the staff was friendly, the holtel was very clean, it is in a great location, we will be staying there everytime we visit Charleston!!!! if you are looking for a great place to stay, I highly recommend this Hotel......If you are Visiting Charleston for the first time there is so much to see.... a beautiful place!!!!!!

I travel a lot and I've stayed in a lot of different types of hotels. This hotel, is one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. Very couteous staff, meticulously clean rooms, and very reasonable prices. I have no complaints about this facility. Not a 5 star and certainly more than a 2 star hotel. Clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for one night and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Our room was on the top floor and was a king mini-suite with sitting area, microwave and fridge. Granted, my fiance has lots of hotel points and we used them for a free stay.

The room was very clean, and we really liked how Holiday Inn has upgraded the bath towels and showerhead. Understand the toiletries will be upgraded soon as well. The breakfast was adequate for our needs--the food was fresh and replenished often on the breakfast bar.

The only bad point was that the hotel was full of what looked like a school or church group of 8-15 year olds. I suppose if we stayed on a lower floor, we would have heard them running about.

Would stay here again if we needed to!

I was surprised by how small the suite was. A full-size pullout sleeper sofa and king bed, desk and coffee table took up most of the space in the room. Though the max occupancy is 5, I wouldn't recommend the rooms for more than 2 adults and one child. Room equipped with microwave, small fridge and coffee maker. No high-speed internet hookup, but a business center with one computer was available. Room and hotel were very clean. Area is a bit noisy. road traffice, airplanes landing at nearby Charleston AFB and even train horns could be heard thru the night. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was decent but only hot items were cinnamon rolls. Fitness center had one treadmill and one stationary bike. Pool and hottub were outside and closed for the season, understandable for Feb. Easy access to highway and shopping mall and movie theater. Big ice rink across street.
