“Great stay”

This hotel was very nice, clean and modern. Breakfast included an omelet station where the attendant cooks them for you to your liking. The business center has a sign that children under 18 are not allowed to use the computers without an adult present, and that is enforced! The computers also have a time limit on them and will log you off after that time. We appreciated that because it gave us a chance to get on after other customers.

The only negatives were on the morning of checkout, we noticed ants on the air conditioning unit by the window, and what appeared to be a small roach in the corner on the wall.
I think this may have been a one-time occurrence, seeing as how the hotel was very clean. Also, there was some confusion at check-in: the employee gave us our room key, but when we got to the room, the door was ajar and the TV was on. Apparently, housekeeping was not finished with it, but in the computer system it showed the room was ready. We were switched to a different room with no problem.
Would stay again and give it another try.

“Best Hotel In Charleston”

This hotel is clean, well organized and the staff is excellent... I changed the dates of my vacation so I could stay there again this year... wonderful hotel, nice clean rooms, beautiful decor, wonderful breakfast and safe location!

Picked up coupon from travel books at SC rest stop. Extremely
reasonable. Friendly/speedy check-in. Room was very clean, comfortable. Decent business center. Female traveling alone for business trip. Felt safe. Nice breakfast. You can have the $1.00 safe charge taken off your bill if you don't use. Will be staying there again on my return to Charleston.

We attended the Spoleto festival and wanted a hotel not too far away, but not in the thick of things either. Comfort Suites, recently built, was great. There were restaurnts nearby, if one didn't want to drive in to Charleston, and the city was only 20 minutes or so away. The staff was what made the stay exceptional. They were friendly and helpful, as if they wanted us to have a good time in their hotel and area. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hot breakfast, with omlettes cooked to order, was great. We'd love to return here.

“Very nice hotel”

This was a nice hotel if you don't mind being about 10 minutes outside Charleston. The hotel grounds and rooms were very clean and quiet. The shower had a wide nozzle shower head, and the towels were thick and absorbant. The rooms were welcoming and serenely decorated with robust earthy colors. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows and crisp linens.
The free in room wireless internet access was a little slow, but it sure beats putting in codes and numbers like some other hotels.
The breakfast bar had something for everyone and the attendant was very attentive and kept the area clean and filled. Nice manager's reception M-F 5:30-7?
Bring your sandals for the pool, as the bricks surrounding it are sharp enough to cut your feet if your not careful.
The Ruby Tuesday about a block away looked like it would be open within a couple weeks.
