Patty melt was good. Service was friendly and quick. The prices were very affordable. Will definitely go back.

The service was amazing (ask for Kathy), the food was just as amazing and the prices even more amazing. First the portion sizes are enough for two and everything is homemade. Shrimp, fish, country fried steak, all of it is hand dipped. The burgers are also handmade. The salad dressings, WOW, all homemade and one is better than the next. We also had dessert and again all homemade. Our waitress Kathy added to the evening, super friendly, always checking on us and hugged us as we left, honestly only in the south! There was four of us and we all had something different and we couldn't pick what was our favorite because it was all good. The menu prices start at $4.95 and typical price is around $8.95 and with that you get your entree, potato, veggie and a side. It is a family owned business and you guessed it, the owner came to the table, introduced himself and visited for a while. We felt so welcome like we were sitting around the family table at home. The only bad thing is this is a smoking restaurant so there is the "smell" but with the food and service this is easy to overlook.

I've been going to brecks for years now. You always get a healthy portion for your money. I personally love their Philly cheese steak! My mother and daughter are huge spaghetti fans, and my husband well he's a fan of the shrimp po boy. I assure you left overs are almost a necessity. :) Kathy is one of the most delightful people you will ever meet! They have recently updated the place and it is beginning to feel anew. the place really is picking it up a notch.
