A few glitches, but generally better in service this time. I stayed for a couple of nights. The first night I microwaved a cup of water for tea, but the microwave shorted out. I was up late, and the burnt smell would not subside, so the front desk clerk offered to move me, and did help me move to another room. She was prompt and courteous. The gentleman that checked me in was very nice with a pleasant disposition. The breakfast was good, and I enjoyed the fresh fruit selection. The bartender gave excellent service, and I had a nice appletini (for a change of pace). The wings there could benefit from a marinade, as someone else commented, they were not good, not bad.
I still think the Sheraton could do better with the safe service at the front desk, because when I went to put my laptop (since I cannot leave it in the car in the heat), the front desk clerk had an issue finding a key to open the safe for it. She said, "I can't find the key." I made it clear that I had an appointment I had to get to, which I did, and I had not anticipated a delay in that service. I believe it should be smoother, and you should be able to accomplish this in a couple of minutes, without delays. On the day of checkout, my blow dryer in the room did not work. I was concerned about checking out late, and waited for another dryer, but I was allowed to stay a bit longer, because of that problem. Though I called the front desk, I ended up having to ask a maid in front of another room for a blow dryer.
I was pleasantly surprised when the bellman remembered me, and where I am from.
I would say that I cannot give it a perfect rating, but I will upgrade it to very good. Though there were maintenance issues, these things happen. The coordination of the keys for the safes at the front desk should be more seamless. I would stay here again because the room is comfortable, and the convenience of the location.
