“Great hotel value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013 via mobile

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, well-run hotel. The room layout is better at this SpringHill than others in this brand. The breakfast was packed - and for good reason: Good food. Fresh strawberries, real scrambled eggs, etc. Hope to see more SpringHills like this one!

The staff at this hotel should travel the country and train others in the service industry on how to create an unbelievable guest experience. Every person we encountered had a smile, kind word and upbeat attitude. I would absolutely stay there again and I would absolutely recommend to anyone!

I book 2 nights at SpringHill in North Charleston and loved it. I wanted to stay downtown at the same time wanting to see the Charleston area. The hotel was in a great location: 15 minutes from downtown, 3 minutes from Tanger Outlet, about 10 minutes from the airport, 1 mile from a Walmart (even though there is a Walmart at Tanger), lots of fast food restaurants on the main road (around the corner, walking distance) and 20 minutes from some of the plantations that I visited. It is right off interstate 26 but tucked in a corner where I didn't see nor hear cars from the hotel. The staff members were nice, friendly, and helpful.
This hotel was very comfortable, clean, had a kitchenette, and had a nice free breakfast set up. The only not so good thing was the pool, postage stamp size. But I didn't go for the pool my kids did (they got over it because they had free Wi-Fi)..

Very comfortable friendly hotel. Nice, modern decor, business as well as family oriented.
Rooms have micro wave, refrigerator as well as coffee maker; however, coffee, hot water for tea and hot chocolate available 24/7 in lobby. Breakfast is one of the best. Wide selection, lots of seating inside and out. Papers complimentary, Geoffrey very helpful in planning next days driving to attractions. Wonderful products for shower, etc. Great large screen TV's, smaller indoor pool, but also has a workout area. Always someone cleaning general area and were friendly and helpful.

we stayed here in August 2013. I was so impressed! this is truly a home away from home. The continental breakfast had lots of variety and 24/7 coffee was definitely a huge plus!
Each room has its own small kitchenette with micro/fridge and the sofa in the living area was so cozy. Bed were comfy and not too hard. Bathroom was roomy.
will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: really enjoyed my stay. my only complaint is that the pool is small but it is big enough for kids a...

Our stay at Springhill Suites in Charleston was absolutely wonderful during the 4th of July holiday. . The suite was comfortable and clean including the bathroom. The check in team allowed us to stay cool in the lounge area until we checked in, nice, cool and comfortable. The morning breakfast was exceptionally nice and tasty, and very at home with Dorothy "MaMa" Swinton making sure we had all our maps and happenings in and around the Charleston area. This was the best and most enjoyable short vacation we have had, only because of the service we received from the staff of the Springhill Suites, Charleston North. See you next year! Sherry B

Room Tip: Our room was great. Sunny in the morning, I did hear a rooster, but I was raised in the country and...

My husband and I absolutely loved this hotel. The staff is incredibly kind and courteous and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful and enjoyable. The breakfast was lovely. Had a decent variety of food to satisfy everyone. The rooms were nice and clean. We were extremely pleased. The beds are super clean and comfortable as well. It is a peaceful place to stay.
The pool is rather small so if you're wanting a hotel with a decent sized pool you may look elsewhere. It is nice and clean at all times.
The fitness center is small as well but it is nice.
You can get coffee, tea, and hot chocolate at all times.
We will definitely be coming back! Love this place and will recommend it to anyone traveling to North Charleston.
It is around 15 minutes to downtown Charleston, Folly Beach, and Isle of Palms.
