The entire staff was very professional, and extremely helpful. The hotel design is very chic/modern also the furnishings are in very good condition. The food service is awesome as you have multiple choices from handmade panni sandwhiches, fresh fruit, meat choices, cereal, etc. The rooms were very big and spacious. Great shopping, and multiple restaurants within close proximity. I would stay at this hotel again if I am in the area.

This is a highly recommended hotel once it is well located with many restaurants in the area, near to airport and to Historic Charleston Downtown. The hotel looks pretty new, with a clean design, in the rooms as in the lobby. I don't give it the grade 5 because I can't adapt to the mattress. Probably it is not bad, but I think it is too soft for me.

Decided to skip the pricey historic downtown Charleston hotels for one near the airport. Still only 15 minutes or so from downtown and near other historic sites. For $99 night, it was one-third the cost of those other places. Looked pretty new, clean, big room and TV, better-than-average free breakfast, plenty of parking. IHOP and Cracker Barrel 1 minute away. Would stay there again.

Hyatt always has a good reputation, but this Hyatt Place is by far a crown jewel in their collection. From my call to make a last minute change in arrival dates to the last goodbye from the "host", I felt like an honored guest. Every staff member I encountered greeted me with a smile and an appropriate greeting. I can't count the times I was asked how my stay was going and if there was anything staff could do to make my stay better. A big "shout-out" to Neil, in particular, for going the extra mile in arranging an earlier arrival and adding on an extra night. The room was spacious, well appointed, and clean. Maid service was efficient and I felt like I was entering a new room when I returned to the room on my second day. My only suggestion to management would be to stock two packets of regular coffee rather than one regular and one decaf in the room. I need my coffee in the morning, but there's no complaint because there was plenty of good coffee in the well-stocked, good variety breakfast dowstairs. As an innkeeper, I give the Hyatt Place a gold star for service and value.
