Room was neat and clean with all facilities .. kitchen, breakfast, jacauzi..and on oceanfront. We enjoyed here for 2 days

Good customer service. Very good parking facility.

Stayed for 5 days at the Palace and had a top floor unit. The view was incredible,
the best I have seen in Myrtle Beach. I didn't take advantage of the free breakfast,
there is a pancake house across the street and I ate there. We will be back!

OMFG! Myrtle Beach, The Palace, should be fumigated. First there was a man outside my door after I arrived and when I called the desk, they said they would send security up to find out who he was. Well that was one hour ago, and the man was howling like a serpent or some kind of weirdo, still no security. Finally they called me back and told me to call the police, which I did, but the cops said is was a hotel issue and they get calls all the time even since the Palace hired extra security. So I guess the security was somewhere else?. Then the guy disappears and shows up when I'm back in the room late at night. Still no security. That was over, I figured. Next I got an infection from the pool, MERSA, I beleieve, but the company wont cover it because the hotel did a lousy job of documenting my three day stay and refused to give me a bill, but billed the business account anyway. Go figure! All I can say is that I am still itching the red spots and theye are spreading.

When we first got there we went up to the room and there was toilet paper on the floor, the floor was clearly not vacuumed, and a bunch of white powder on the table. When we went back downstairs to tell them our room was a mess we were told it was our fault because it wasn't check in time yet. She even argued with us as if we were making it up. The breakfest was definitely something I didn't want to try again the second day we stayed. The pool was not only closed by incredibly small. The rooms as the rest of the hotel looked very outdated. I didn't even know people still had those tv's the ones you can turn the dial on the tv (in picture). The windows everywhere throughout the hotel had gunk all over them. Our blinds that were in front of the balconey were covered in large amounts of black mold..very dirty. Please do yourselves a favor. Don't stay here!!
