We stayed at the Outrigger the second week in May. This was my second trip to Myrtle Beach. The first time I went I stayed at the "Patricia Grand", the crew at the Outrigger made me feel more at home than the staff at the PG. We paid like half for the room, and had twice as much fun. Don and his staff are great. When we arrived there it was like 8 in the morning on a MONDAY, of all days, (I didn't know when check in was so we got there early...) Needless to say Don got out of the bed came to the office and checked us in that early in the morning. that said something to me that he would go out of his way for his customers. The only draw back is that it's not ocean front. But overall we had a great time, I really suggest The Outrigger to everyone...Maybe not in May... The poool is really COLD!!

I highly recommend the Outrigger as an accomodation offering value, proximity to the beach, and clean facilities. Nothing fancy, but you get good hospitality and a decent room. My family liked the suites with the kitchenettes.
