“Another Great Vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Back from our 3rd stay at Myrtle Beach Resort and as usual had a great time!! The landscape is beautiful and there is so much to do right at the resort! It rained three days while we were there but my daughters still got to swim in the indoor pool. We stay in a beautiful condo in building B and love it! It's close to Murrell's Inlet, Georgetown, Brookgreen Gardens, Pawley's Island, etc. and not far from Broadway at the Beach, the boardwalk and hundreds of other attractions! You can sit and watch the ducks and swans or enjoy the beautiful beach. There are play areas, ball courts, swimming pools, etc. We always enjoy being there. It is a very secure area. Now it is like a home away from home to us!!

Room Tip: We stay in Building B, but all the buildings look nice.

Dear Guest,
Thank you so very much for staying with us, your repeat business is incredibly valuable. We are always thrilled to hear positive feedback as it lets us know we are on the right track!
More than anything we would like to thank you for taking the time to let others know about Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations and that you enjoyed your experience.
We do pride ourselves on the fact that we were indeed one of, if not the first, self contained resorts built in all of Myrtle Beach and have set the bar for any others following behind.
With our sprawling 33 acres of lush, landscaped privacy, sports for all ages, and numerous eateries and pools, both indoors and out, we are sure to have something for all ages.
Our home owners have truly stepped up to the plate this year and last with upgrades, remodels, and condo improvements that are sure to please.
We hope to see you again soon and once again thank you for your patronage and great review!
Sincerely,
Myrtle Beach Resort Staff and Management

We enjoyed the stay there. Very beautiful rooms. Close to the beach. We could see the sunrise from the balcony. Food was also awesome. the breakfast buffet was very good. All other resort amenities were excellent. Very friendly staff.

We have spent five summers at this resort and we'll be back next year! Perfect for families or older couples. The condos are individually owned so quality varies. We rent from the same owner each year and we love this condo. Beautiful view and comfortably furnished. The resort has several pools, lazy river, snack bar, restaurant, laundry and a gorgeous beach. The surf water is about 80-85 degrees in the summer through mid September. Safe resort with lots of parking space---security guards are always available if needed. Great place. Don't miss it.

Room Tip: We like the Tower--try to get an ocean view.

Hello hotgrandma,
We love your user name by the way! Thank you so very much for your repeat business as well as your rave review of Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations.
Security is one thing amongst many that we take very seriously and pride ourselves upon. We do not allow anyone through our gates that is not a registered guest, owner, or an announced guest. This is to protect not only the safety and privacy of our guests, but also the serenity and beauty of our resort as a whole. With numerous outdoor and indoor amenities, gorgeous landscaping unique to the Grand Strand area. With a true Low Country feel and even our own little ecosystem complete with turtles, swans, and the occasional bunny family, we find it important to very strictly monitor the traffic so that we can maintain this peaceful atmosphere for all involved.
While Summer is the most popular time, we also offer Winter Rentals at monthly rates in lots of our condos, Winter Activities like Wii Bowling, and our great indoor climate controlled pool and hot tub with reading and resting nooks throughout the Ocean Spa Building. Simply call and ask about our great Long Term rates!
We are also looking forward to some great changes in the Food and Beverage Department for 2014 so make sure to stay tuned.
Sincerely,
MBRV Staff and Management

Stayed in a 2/2 unit. Had partial ocean view. Really reasonable rates after Labor Day, but resort fees are added. Condo was clean and furnishings were adequate, not top of the line but not old either. Only issue was the carpet really needed to be replaced due to staining and wear. We reported a missing TV remote (which mgmt replaced) but otherwise no problems. Place was quiet and safe. Pools and general areas clean. Interior hallways of buildings odd, very institutional looking and bleach smell around elevators and stairwells very strong. Wouldn't pay the summer high season rates for same condo, but good value off season.

Stayed in room 1202 Sept. 7-14, 2013 with my mother, my brother and his wife and toddler. The room was clean, but small. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, I felt like I slept standing on my head...the bed frame must have been bent. Turned the ice maker on in the fridge and it smelled terrible, so we had no ice during the stay. You only get enough towels for one day, so this means you HAVE to do laundry yourself in the laundry room that is located on the first floor with machines that cost $1.75 a load and more for drying. Bring extra towels and wash cloths and laundry detergent. They only clean your room before you arrive and after you leave, so you have to clean the room yourself during your stay. Who wants to clean and wash towels on vacation?!?! The view of the ocean and beach was nice, but the balcony was very small. Barely enough room for the 2 chairs that were on it, but who wants to sit out there with all the Pigeon poop and feathers?!?!? This was the first time I've ever had that problem at the beach and also the first time that I had seen Crows on the beach. There were more Pigeons and Crows than Seagulls. I'm thinking maybe it is because this "Resort" is located between campgrounds?!? The beach bar is loud on certain nights and loaded with obnoxious drunks that "caterwaul" late at night. Inside the Tower building was very quiet though, you rarely pass anyone in the hallways and never hear any noise. The beach was nice, but there are 2 storm drains on each side of the Tower building and one of them looked quite nasty will stagnated water in it for a few days until they dug the sand out and the water moved freely. There are signs there that talk about bacteria possibilities. There were dogs on the beach all hours of the day, this didn't bother me as I'm a dog owner too.....but I thought there were certain hours that you can take your dog on the beach??? Maybe these restrictions are lifted after Labor day??? I need to read up on that. Also, the gift shop was not open, it must close after Labor Day? I don't know for sure. I spent most of my day on the beach basking in the sun from sun-up to sun-down, the weather was perfect that week...no rain at all...that was my saving grace for this vacation. My brother reserved this room at this "Resort" and you get what you pay for. This was my first and last time at this "Resort", it is not a place that I would have chosen at all. So in a nutshell, I wouldn't recommend this "Resort" to any of my friends or family. As for restaurants.... Bubba's Fish Shack in SurfSide is great....I ate one of the best steaks of my life at Thorny's....and for Mexican I suggest El Cerro. Happy traveling. :)

We stayed here for two nights while on holiday here but had I checked the rooms before paying we wouldn't have stayed. It was very dowdy and wasn't convinced of the cleanliness of it. A lesson learned I checked every hotel after that. The reception area looked okay but wasn't impressed with anywhere else in it. I didn't think the staff were that great either, very can't be bothered.
