We go to Myrtle Beach every year for an extended weekend. This year, all the rooms have been renovated, the additional wing is completed, and the PARKING DECK is complete! The place was excellent. Superb staff, very clean rooms, and a great rate for off season. If you have small children, they have a BRAND NEW outdoor water park element with a PIRATE SHIP theme. Its not accessible in the winter, but the indoor water park with the lazy river, pools, jacuzzis, and play area with the buckets of water & other water elements are great. Lots of golfers and snow birds stay here, but thats OK. I haven't had breakfast at the restaurant, but I hear its great.

Last August, My Wife, three kids and I stayed at the Ocean Reef resort and it was outstanding. From the time we booked the vacation until the day we departed the level of service was top notch. We stayed in a 3BR Condo with an ocean view and the sunsets were amazing. The service within the hotel cannot be beat. The concierge service, front desk staff, restaurant staff and maid sevice were first class. The pool area and beach were clean and plenty of room throughour the day and early evening.

I travel worldwide over 100+ nights a year and I am looking forward to returning to the Ocean Reef Resort in July 2007 to spend another relaxing vacation with my family

We have just returned from a mini vacation to Myrtle Beach. I was lucky enough to stumble across the Ocean Reef Resort website and decided to stay there after reading it's reviews.

There were six of us, including a newborn, a nine year old, and a teenager. This resort has something for everyone. We were able to keep the older children entertained with the many amenities available and have some quiet time with the newborn.

I would highly recommend the "angle view" condos. We had ample room for all plus a great view.

The staff members were great from check-in to check-out, always friendly and helpful.

We can't wait for our next trip to Myrtle Beach. We know where we will be staying from now on.

We stayed at the Ocean Reef Resort for a long weekend in Jan. 2007. Had read many good reviews on TripAdvisor and they all lived up to our expectations. The North Tower is new and our efficiency 1 bedroom was very nice with 2 small balconies. The king bed was very comfortable. There was a small livingroom-dining area and a kitchenette sufficient for a quick breakfast or lunch. Also included a stacked washer and dryer. Great ocean view. A very nice place.
