Would not recommend staying here, found better deals, in hotels with less star rating that were in way better condition. I did not even want to shower while I was there. Roaches and other miscellaneous insects all over the pool/ bar area. Customer service was poor. I'm not sure I have anything positive to say. We left bright and early next morning, ended up in Florida because our experience at the hotel and Myrtle beach were that bad.

We chose this place for a family vacation, because of the things available for our grandson, and we could bring our 4 lb Yorkie. The first night we were in the hotel section. At one time this could have been a nice resort.

But all the furnishings are Worn, and faded. The washer and dryer available for guest use, are very slow, and over priced. The next night we moved into our 1 br. Efficiency. It has a small two burner top, and no oven. The sleeper sofa, was terrible, even with two blankets the springs dug into your back. The water faucet in the shower would not deliver hot water. We were told it was a timer.... Then when fixed hot water could only be found between cold and hot. The wifi was iffy, and when we called at one point they did a reset. That help for a short time. Parking in the off season is a problem. So can only imagine what it's like during peak season.
This could be a much better place if they freshened the place up.

I stayed here for 1 night.

It's very old tired and drab! The staff inside the hotel were friendly enough but the valet staff we're rude and not helpful at all.

Please note if you book a standard room you will be made to park across the street near friendlys dinner.

The room was old, felt damp and just tired looking. It was clean I must give it that.

The po can only fit in around 20 people it's so small for a large hotel. The plus side is the beach right in front of the hotel.

Pay the extra $$ to stay somewhere nicer. It will be worth it.

All in all it was ok. I would never return.

Stayed here knowing we had to do a mandatory 90 min presentation. Just a word of warning be prepared to be there for over 2 hours and if you don't stay till the end and all the people finally sign you off then you will not get the discounted room rate you were promised

We stayed in the new Tower section and were very underwhelmed with the room. Things just did not seem clean. I'm sure the maid changed the sheets and towels but I think that's about all that is done between guests.

The facilities are nice don't get me wrong but all guests of both the hotel and the owner side all share the same facilities The walk to the beach with chairs is not easy as they only have one beach access down at the old hotel end if you want to rent chairs it's $30 a day !!

The amusement park is right across the street and they never turn the lights off so you need to close curtains to sleep

making mojito's.The people around you are rude.

Girls trip to Myrtle Beach.....Jackie at the front desk was awesome!! She said that since we were "so nice", she rewarded us with an ocean front room!! Could use a little updating, and our hairdryer needed replacing, but that was handled promptly, so no complaints!

Room Tip: Would stay here again - thanks again to Jackie!!

we checked in and the room that we had did not have a working dryer and overlooked the parking lot. we moved to a new room and the jacuzzi arm broke and there was a leak in the bedroom. the workman asked for us to use one shower and not to use the jacuzzi if possible. The cake was when we checked out at 10am the housekeeper came by at 8:45 asking us when we would leave and waited by the door with the cart until we checked out at 10. we could not get the luggage cart thru the hall because of her cart waiting for us to get out of the room. The weather was great the location is perfect for a family vaction but I would really rethink staying there. The front desk was very helpful in helping us and refunded some of cost but I can't say yay on nay other than really weigh the pros and cons of staying here. Mostly I have never stayed at a place where the housekeeping staff sits at the door for you to leave. That was just rude and unneccesary since we could not even get the cart out and all they wanted to do was turn the room. since the new tower has been built there has been no improvements the starbucks or sportsbar has not opened yet and parking is not the best.

Room Tip: ask for the new tower anything in the hotel is the orginal refurbished
