We were a little skeptical of the Gazebo before we got here but have been pleasantly surprised. The hotel is old, but the rooms were very clean. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The biggest pro is that it's a very reasonably priced hotel right on the beach. The biggest con IMO was the size of the room. They are fairly small (remember its an old hotel). We had one of the efficiencies which makes it even tighter. We stayed for a week and my wife packs a lot and we managed, but it was a challenge. The refrigerator was full size, stove and sink small but usable. The hotel next door (the Palace) produced quite a bit of noise, but it was the fourth of July week. We had no problem with any smells or odors mentioned in some of the other reviews. Overall it was a good experience and would recommend it.
