“Staff makes the stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

We stayed in an ocean front king suite for two nights and had a wonderful stay. The weather was not at all cooperative; but we so enjoyed sitting on our balcony and enjoying the surf. The room was clean and roomy. If you are looking for a luxurious decor, you may be disappointed. The hotel (our room at least) was dated and a not very attractive mustard shade of gold. The kitchen had the things we needed; but we did not eat at the hotel except for snacks.

I would rarely up a rating of a hotel based on the staff; but in this case I did. Our check-in was a breeze - friendly, helpful and fun staff at the reservation desk. We were allowed to check in a couple of hours early but, keep in mind, it was during the week in the off-season. We did not encounter one person who worked in the various areas of the hotel that was not friendly and concerned that we were having a good time.

We did not use the pool facilities; but they looked nice and great for families with kids. The Starbucks in the lobby was an added treat.

We went through priceline and found our room for around $100 a night. It was a double queen suite, oceanfront. The views were amazing! There is so much to do at the hotel for kids and adults. Karaoke, bowling, kids pool area.. There were a few minor problems I noticed where they had missed cleaning spots, but overall was clean. We found everyone helpful and had some great suggestions for restaurants and activities to do. This helped make an awesome vacation! Loved being so close to the ocean!!!

We had an amazing time at this resort! Everything we needed was right there! All of the staff was so helpful and kind! The Starbucks coffee at the resort was definitely an added bonus :) We have already made plans to revisit very soon!

Room 1102 accomodated up to 8 people with 2 flatscreen tvs! This was the perfect 'get away!' We vacationed with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed all the activities that Coral Beach offers! It is a perfect atmosphere with and updated, clean, ocean front experience. This would be a great place for families as there are 10 different pools (including hot tubs & a lazy river) and nice bowling ally, arcade, ocean front grill and bar! I look forward to our next visit!

We just returned from a trip with our 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old boys. The resort is wonderful - the pools are amazing - clean and warm and welcoming. The beach was fantastic - clean and safe.
Our room (Oceanfront 1 Bedroom King Condo) was exactly what we wanted, with a fantastic view. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, bowling alley etc.) were all extremely friendly, and often went out of their way to help us.
Having the kitchenette was great so that we weren't eating out all the time. There is only the breakfast restaurant on-site (I heard rumors about lunch on the patio, but it was closed while we were there - the only explanation was that "we told the chef he could go home"???)

The beds were really comfy - even the Murphy Bed in the livingroom was good (better than expected).

One of the winners in our mind was the location of this resort - it was oceanfront, and a short drive from the attractions at the main boardwalk (around 5 minutes), and a short drive to celebrity circle (around 10 minutes) and so on. For some people, they might want to be closer to the action, but for us, we preferred the quieter end of the beach where it wasn't as busy.

The only real down side was that from Thursday - Saturday nights, they play extremely loud music on the beachfront patio. This is awesome if you don't have two little ones trying to sleep in an oceanfront room. It doesn't go too late - maybe 10 or 11? But it sounds like the speakers are right on your balcony. It's forgivable for the great view from the room, though.

Bring:
* oven mitts if you plan on using the oven
* some sort of over-the-door hook or drying rack or SOMETHING to dry your bathing suits and towels on. The shower curtain rod is one of the curvy ones, so if you hang them on that, the water just drips all over the floor. I was surprised that there wasn't one of those retractable lines or hooks or anything.
* your own lawnchairs or shelter for the beach unless you want to pay $30 to rent the great ones that they already have there. We were only there for a few hours, so I didn't want to pay that.

Helpful hints:
* Guest laundry - $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry your clothes, Great machines - they did a good job. The front desk can make change for you.
* For our room (7th floor, ocean facing), the internet was inaccessible from the bedroom, but worked ok in the livingroom.
* We came on the last week of April. The weather was warm and the resort wasn't busy - it was a great time to come.

Room Tip: Spring for the Oceanfront. You won't regret it. Choose higher than the 4th floor as the palm t...

We were looking for a clean, good location, and reasonable rates, we found it all at coral beach re s ort..........We were happy with everything and enjoyed our stay very much!!!!!!!! We were really tired from travelling so we were able to check in a little early; The check in was so smooth it didn,t take long at all.....We were able to rest . The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony.and view.We really liked the location.....We didn,t go down on the beach because of the weather, but,it looked so enjoyable as we could see some in the water having their fun...There were no noise at night so we got a wonderful night.'s sleep...We were happy with the microwave, and the refrigerator, and the coffee maker as we didn't have to go out for breakfast unless we wanted to..We were very pleased at the rates for this time of the year.....We were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend this resort to friends and familily..We hope to return again when it won.t be raining so we can walk around and walk on the beach... It really is a beautiful resort. Itwas easy to find the good eating places and not very far from the boardwalk and mall.parking was very easy.,...Didn't have to worry about the rain as there wereshelter overhead...We were a little worried as we didn't see the rooms before we booked through booking .com but we were very satisfied.......
