Had a really great time. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Accommodations were great. The beds were very comfortable. Really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzis. Breakfast was excellent!!

I have visited Coral Beach Resort two years in a row. The location is great, the staff is super friendly, and the rooms were spacious and clean. I went with my children and my parents to celebrate their anniversary. The manager gave us free drink coupons for the outdoor bar and free bowling cupons for coming back! I have been to other hotels in Myrtle Beach and no other compares. There is so much for kids to do and the staf is ver accomadating. I would recommend this place to anyoneandwill contiune to visit for our family summer vaction.

Coral Beach Resort offers a New Year's Eve party package, with buffet breakfast included the New Year's morning. We have gone for five years in a row and obviously enjoy combining the beach with a celebration.

My partner and I frequently travel to Myrtle Beach just to get away. This was our first stay at Coral Beach, and it will probably be our last. There are many great things about the resort but there are also some negatives. To begin with, the service desk staff is the resort's greatest asset. Upon check in the front desk staff welcomed us and upgraded us to an oceanfront suite. The issues started with the elevator ride up...the elevator smelled like hair grease and bug spray. We reached the room and before entering I thought of the reviews mentioning the weird odors...As the door opened fumes billowed out with the stench of corn chips and cheap incense. So we went back to the front desk. We were moved to another room which apparently was under maintenance because the room wreaked of paint fumes, which was sourced from the refrigerator with the "wet paint, don't touch" sign attached. Bewildered, and asking "Are we being pinked?", my partner and I went back to the front desk to get another room. Angela at the front desk apologized and sent us to another room. This room didn't have any odd smells, but the 1980's wretchedly upholstered chair was broken which we weren't about to pay for. At this point were about ready to call it quits despite the great deal we were getting (Ocean Front King Suite with breakfast for our whole stay and free bowling). We explained the situation to the front desk manager Angela, and she upgraded us to the Oceanfront 1 bedroom condo and a $30 refund. Her genuine concern convinced us to give this place one last chance. We were happy with this room and finally got to start our vacation. Everything is pretty much dated but you can make it work. The indoor hot tubs and pool were clean and the breakfast is pretty good. I think this is our last time coming to the Coral Beach as many other hotels in the area are nicer and roughly the same price. Many of the problems with the rooms could have easily been avoided, so if the resort can focus more on the basics (rooms that don't smell and rooms that aren't in disrepair), they will have more return customers.
