I stayed at the Ocean Forest Plaza with two girlfriends for a getaway last summer, and it was a very nice place. We had a one bedroom efficiency which was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked, don't remember having to ask for anything. The beach was not crowded. We took a cab to Broadway as we figured we'd have some drinks at Margaritaville and didn't want to drive back. We didn't use the pool, but it looked very clean and well maintained. My only reason for not returning this year was the price. I've really searched and found the same or larger room with extra bedroom and kitchen for less money, so if I could say anything, it would be that the rates could be a bit more competitive, but they are comparable to other hotels around. Do your homework, check tripadvisor alot :) for deals. I don't remember being offered help to unload our car (Patricia Grand is very efficient in this and spoiled us this year; I think hotels could learn from them in that regard) and we had to park in garage first, go back and get rolling cart, go back through garage (which is pretty big), load it, roll it back to lobby which was very busy and always a crowd waiting for elevator but perfectly normal for any hotel. I just remember that part being sort of taxing and knowing what I know now of other places, would have been nice to get some help. Overall, we had a nice stay and would recommend this hotel.
