“Great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

We stayed here in the week before the Memorial Day weekend. The unit is very big and situated in a quiet area just a mile from the beach. The unit is well-stocked as far as supplies (like paper towels, dishwashing soap, toilet paper, etc,) that we did not request for any compared to other vacation resorts we stayed in before. Parking is right next to the unit. We will stay here again if we will ever go back to Myrtle Beach.

Just returned from the Links and had a wonderful stay. We were off the noisy 17 Hwy.
backing out on golf course. Played a lot of golf at many courses, very nice and inexpensive.
Indoor pool as well as outdoor and hot tub. Very clean and well maintained.

Room Tip: Refurbished units backing on the golf course.

Kinda hidden, Possum Trot golf course holes 14, 15 are adjacent. 2 story unit, kitchen & baths are nice but the units still have the old mercury switch thermostats and that carries to the (probably original) furniture and bed spreads; needs updating. Really nice pool area; large outside pool, heated indoor pool & toasty 10 person hot tub. Pool area open till 12a, hot tub at 10p was nice. Tennis courts next to pool; workout room in clubhouse. Children's play area next to pool. About 1 mile from Bi-Lo and Kroger. About 6 miles to Barefoot Landing. Font desk staffed 24 hrs and very helpful. Had issue with dryer, maint quick to fix. Gray Fox walked past the back patio one night. Cooked steaks one night on the charcoal (you furnish) grill near the unit. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Some mixed reviews had me worried, but we had a wonderful time. great location and i guess all the units have been remodeled because ours was super clean and every thing in it looked almost brand new. everyone we spoke to had nothing but good things to say about the place. we came to golf and that we did, check out the deals from the front desk too, they are very helpful. we enjoyed the rec hall (free ping pong and billards) but never made it to the beach. bring your tennis racquet...not too many people playing this time of year i guess>>>we never had to wait for a court! we are planning to come back next year for 2 weeks if we can !!!

One of the older resorts; but still seems like one of the greater ones. Nice little condos with no to little bugs. The location is excellent, a short 5 minute ride to the beach. (Or of course; take the shuttle.)
The best time to go swimming is at night, as of not a lot of people are swimming that late at night. They have daily activities for kids and adults. :)
Not a grand, fancy, condo at all. But - proves every year - to be one of the best.

We purchased a timeshare resale in 2009 and have never regretted it. We pay about $550/year maintenance, which puts the price of our vacation of half what it would have been if we had stayed in a hotel. The location is very convenient to the places we like to visit, the restaurants we like and the golf courses. We prefer to drive to Sunset Beach, NC (20 min.) rather than use the cabana and beach at North Myrtle, although that's a nice option. We have never had a problem with the unit and it has always been clean and ready for us. The staff is very nice and very helpful.

Room Tip: We have #82 unit, which is on one of the fairways to Possum Trot Golf Course.

This is the 2nd time we stayed here. It is a very quiet place and has a cabana near the beach, which is very nice. The townhomes are very outdated and in need of remodeling. Ours had many bugs, from centipedes to flies and ants. The appliances were rusting and stained dirty. The ponds are completely covered with algae, which gives the aroma of a swamp if you stand near them. The layout of the building is nice, but the buildings have obviously been neglected. Carpet is stained and tile floors need to be replaced due to staining. With all of the options of very nice places to stay in the Myrtle Beach area, there is no reason to stay here.
