Hey Everyone!
I would love to leave you with the title, but I would be selling this resort short!
Upon first arrival at the hotel/resort, you will have to check in, then find parking. The staff at the front desk are certainly friendly, but after you check in, you achieve what I call hotel independence(apartment style living). The parking is based on a few separate floors which are above ground, which I found to be somewhat difficult, regarding the tight parking spaces. However once you find a spot, and get accustomed to the parking style, it gets somewhat easier.
Depending on which room you get, it will obviously vary in size, view, and all the basics. But after visiting various rooms, many of them being different sizes (1 bedroom - 3 bedroom apartments), it is not difficult to see similarities in each room. They are all pretty standard and uniform when compared to each-other, but none the less, it is a very clean and modern resort. The rooms are provided with all the basic amenities. The resort is relatively new, so all the rooms are up to date. The kitchens are provided with all the essential items (fridge, stove, etc) and it is all very clean upon first arrival. Each and every bedroom has a tv, which you may set a DVD player, xbox, etc, up to. I am tempted to go on about all the little items in the rooms (kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms) but you can get the gist of it in the photos. You are able to get maid service, but it does not come standard every day, it must be arranged. Each room also has a balcony with a lovely view of the ocean, perfect for watching the sunset and all that jazz. (Beeutiful views!)
Attached to one of the parking floors, stands a convenience store. Do not get too excited! It sells all the basics (pops, snacks, souvenirs), but not the total variety of a 7/11. Do not worry though! There are many convenience stores around the resort, just a quick walk across the street. Please don't even get me started on all the beach stores laying around Myrtle Beach!
Now, once you are settled in to you room, which is very warming and cozy, you now have the time to see the pools! When you enter the pool area, which is inside (where the 1st two pools are), you will see the small lazy river and the wading pool. The lazy river is a short zig zag(circle) withholding warm water. Tubes are available beside the lazy river, unless you choose to go tubeless, which I got looks for :P. Beside the lazy river is the small wading pool (still inside), it is a uniform 1ft deep, with warm water, and some toys for your children etc.
Heading outside, there are another two pools. There is a small splash pad type wading pool (sorry for my bad description of this! I don't know how to explain this pool, the pictures will show you!) it also is around 1ft deep. Close beside, and also outside, is the standard swimming pool. It is much cooler than the pools inside, and has varied depth. The gate/walkway to the beach is just steps away from the pools, perfect for a long walk on the beach. While I walked the beach with my feet dragging in the ocean, I could just hear the smooth jazz play out in my head. The sun was perfectly setting and a surge of body heat flushed my body, giving you that comfortable and peaceful feeling (Maybe it was all in my head :P ).
Now, I could list off the countless activities and places to visit in Myrtle Beach, but if I did that, you would be reading a three inch thick book. I would definitely recommend visiting the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, it is full of exciting shops, restaurants and different activities. I personally believe that the boardwalk is a great 'All-in-one' visit, probably perfect for visiting over a night or two! It is visually stunning and incredibly fun! Certainly check out the website!Other than the boardwalk, please go eat some seafood somewhere! Go visit any type of crab shack, or something along those lines.
So all in all, I traveled with my family (two parents, two sons), and it was a great resort. It was incredibly clean and well priced for the location and value you are getting with the rooms/resort. Definitely recommended for families, or even couples, it provides hospitality for a great spectrum of people!
Please feel free to ask me any question about the resort or places to visit! I will give you a descriptive and clear response, as I have researched a lot of the information surrounding these resorts/cities! :)
