“Perfect vacation spot for our family!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2010

We just returned from our trip late last night. We spent a week in the Breaker's paradise building. We checked in on a Saturday evening, 6 p.m. and we breezed right through. The elevators were never a problem to get. No long waits at all. We stayed in room 1870, 3 bedroom deluxe suite (4 queens and 1 king...beds, not people!) Our room wa a corner room with an amazing view. The suite was spotless...no odors, no mold, crisp sheets and clean towels. The kitchen was more than amply stocked, and our freezer had an ice maker, no need to buy any ice. We slept wonderfully, the beds were very comfortable. There is a safe in the room to keep your valuables. Housekeeping came every day and took care of all our needs. The beach was busy and so was the pool/lazy river. We spent most our time on the beach, renting 2 umbrellas and 4 chairs. It was easier for us to know we had seating than to search for a chair poolside. We enjoyed the Red parrot for drinks in the afternoon, and enjoyed listening to the DJ beginning at noon time every day. All the kids hanging by the pool seemed to always be enjoying the activities. Our one and only comment would be the need for a lifeguard or 2 supervising the pool/lazy river. A lot of the kids get a bit rowdy and we noticed many of them not being supervised by their parents. We also overheard a few people state they were staying at a completely different hotel a few blocks inland, but came right into the Breakers pool without anyone noticing they had no bracelet on...we would suggest a card swipe system to enter the pool, like ones used for entering your hotel room. Other than that, we enjoyed every single moment and look forward to our return. We had an opportunity to speak with the general manager and he could not have been a more caring gentleman. He certainly enjoys his job and takes it very seriously. Kudos to the Breakers Paradise! You ended our summer on the perfect note!

Just got back today from our 6 night stay at Myrtle Beach. The Paradise Resort was very clean and the maid service was great. Would recommend this place to anyone. Only complaint was the noisy doors. People next door had kids who were in and out a lot during the night. Doors are heavy and kids tend to slam the doors. Would stay here again.

Traveled with family, and was a guest on the 5th floor from sunday thru today. I was nervous about this hotel, as I had never been there, and had read some poor reviews about the housekeeping. Well-either the others were VERY particular or housekeeping stepped it up before we got there, because our room was immaculate....Housekeeping was there every single day of our stay, to replenish towels and vacuum the sandy carpets. The pools were clean, food at the bar (hot dogs and burgers served) were great. prices were reasonable. The only negative was the fact that there are 4 floors of parking space for a 20 story hotel??? We felt as if we had to rush back each evening to get a good spot in the lot. There was overflow parking available, however it was across the street. Everyone at this resort was very nice, helpful , and hospitable. Room had a cofee maker, but cofee was not provided, which was not a big deal. Just a heads up to those of you that are planning a trip here. All in all, it was a pleasant experience held by our family . Thank you Paradise resort!

My family and I was just at the Paradise resort this , August 2-Augusht 9,2010,rooms 601-602.We found the plaradise to be just wonderful. The Grandchilren didn;t want to leave. The housekeeong staff was very accommodating and we apprecaite all that they did for us. Our rooms were clean each day with fresh linen and fresh towels. The only complaint, I have is that the kitchen needs more utenieiles to cook with.
The evening clerk was exceptional helpful and I appreciaed everything that she did to resolve my issue with y credit card. I beleive she said tht she was the night auditor, however, I am very greatful to her for all her help regarding my issue. She was very attentive and worked with me until she resolved the issue and she was able to debit my card. I thank her a thounsand times, If she hadn;t work with me on this problem, my family (13 total) would not have had a place to stay. We drove all the way from Indiana. I thank her again and again.
My family enjoyed themselves and we do plan on staying at the Paradaise again in 2011. Great place tostay, los of things to do for small children/ Loved it.

Stayed in a three bedroom unit on the 9th floor. When we first walked into the room i couldn't believe how big and clean it was. The view from the balcony was awesome. Very equipped kitchen and nice applicances. The whole staff was very friendly and helpfull. It is a very quiet and peaceful hotel . I will for sure be staying there again.Kudos to the paradise resort hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel-the front desk checked us in really fast-and was very kind. Not sure what other ppl on here are talking about with the housekeeping staff-but we couldn't keep them out of our room. (Which was a good thing!) Loved the condo and my whole experience at Myrtle Beach! Waiting for 2011 deals to book again-and plan to stay longer! Only semi-negative thing to say is that the kitchen tools (pans really) were lacking-I will bring my own next time-but you could certainly make due with what was there. For sure-will be a regular vacation hotel!

We were very impressed with the hotel. We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit. Very quiet rooms, very spacious and CLEAN!!! The room smelled brand new when we walked thru the doors. New applicances made our quick meals a breeze! If we needed any cookware or dining ware, all we did was call the maids and they brought us what we needed! The maids were very friendly and always made sure that things were cleaned efficiently. The staff kept the elevators very clean due to water and sand. The restaurant was good as well, small menu but we ate breakfast there and a few dinners. We will be staying here again for sure!
