My husband and 4 children and I go to myrtle beach every year for my husbands family reunion. So before we went this time I checked some other attractions that would not cost a lot of money. When we arrived at this little zoo we first thought it was petting zoo until we got thru the doors and looked up, to see a chimpanzee sitting on some old pillows because the cage he was in looked like a giant mouse or rodent cage. He or she looked very unhappy the prime mate just sat there watching the people coming and going. The animals that needed a small type of cage had a small room size cage with several animals in the cage. The big cats did not have a habitat they had concrete to lay on and it was wet from were some worker had recently spayed the cage down form were the cat went to the bathroom. The other cats and bears were not happy they just paced in their little cage that was not fit for a dog much less a big cat or bears. This so called zoo, needs someone to come take the animals to a real zoo, and the owners need to be charged with mistreatment or zoo animals. There was a donkey way in the back it looked like if you didn't bye the feed they had for sale and feed the donkey it was not getting fed . Hands down worst zoo ever I took pictures of every habitat if that is what they are so suppose to be just to show the proper authorities. It upset my children to see how badly the animals were being kept .
