Rented a timeshare in the North Tower during March break for a family vacation. Location of this resort is great. Facilities are great and well taken care of. Our 2 bedroom condo was good but expected a larger living room/TV area and better chairs/couches for watching TV.

Two big complaints:
1) The outdoor pools are not heated! The other resorts we've stayed at in MB have the pools heated in March and we enjoyed swimming outside but couldn't at this resort because the water was way too cold.
2) There was a large group of college students hogging the hot tubs and partying in them way till at least 3am, to the point that we couldn't sleep with our windows open. They say the pool area is closed at 11pm but the resort security doesn't enforce this rule.

Next year we will go somewhere else.

Visited from Feb. 16-23 in a 3br, 2ba in Villa I. Checked-in in less than 10 minutes -- pleasant and helpful staff. Very quiet off-season around the resort. Room was fantastic (on 3rd flr). 2 of the largest bedrooms have full ocean view, along with the living and dining areas. Washer and dryer in unit, full kitchen, elevator access, Interior and exterior areas clean. As stated, very little traffic, so parking was no problem. Travelled with 2 kids, 11 and 15, who enjoyed the indoor pool and took advantage of a large selection of games and movies that can be checked out. Even jigsaw puzzles which the 15 yo is a great fan of. Visited lots of nearby area attractions including SkyWheel, Medieval Times Rest., and the Ripleys Aquarium. WiFi access available for free but was very, very slow on my laptap. We called for a couple of minor things and maintenance/housekeeping responded within minutes. Exercise room was $15 for the week for the family. Other on-site activities mostly free or minimal cost ($5 or less). Also enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the Captain Cove's Restaurant in the North Tower. I really enjoyed the beautiful ocean view, though it was too cold to go in the water. We still enjoyed walks on the beach and got lots of really great pictures. All in all, a wonderful stay and resort.

First. It's right on the beach. Yes it's got sand and rust. Why do people want to get right next to the beach and complain about the way it IS.
Anyway, my wife and I love this resort and keep coming back. Been here all but the hottest months. We love watching the sunrise with the breakfast buffet in Captain's Cove. All the standard breakfast items and MTO omelets and waffles.
We are cutting back with a one bedroom this year and still enjoy the room, the beach and the sticky sand. <G>

We've stayed at SeaWatch twice now. Both times booked a low rate online and had a nice room, full kitchen and great oceanfront view. The restaurant breakfast is okay although there are many other nearby choices too. Pools are nice and right off the beach. Also fishing pier in walking distance.

We love the Wyndham timeshare at Seawatch Plantation. When you tire of the shell-strewn beach, There are several large swimming pools, hot tubs, and lazy rivers. We have never had a problem getting pool chairs in the sun or shade. The pool area also features a turtle and fish filled lagoon next to the Tiki Bar.

The 2 bedrooms are nicely appointed but a but tight. We try to book a 3 bedroom for 2 couples which features a much larger living room/dining room. The 3 bedroom also has a giant oceanfront balcony which we use a lot. Both 2 and 3 bedrooms have great kitchens.

A short beach walk to the south, there are several places to eat or drink. There is no food service at Seawatch.

I have been to this Wyndham resort once before about 3 years ago in the Fall to golf with buddies and was excited about bringing family and friends here.

This visit was a bit disappointing.

Several areas could use maintenance. To name a few: at least 2 of the hot tubs and 2 pools were uninhabitable due to leaves and residue. My friend talked to a maint. man and confirmed they should have 1 of the hot tubs up and running soon...never happened in our 6 day stay. The wall facade outside our unit on the 4th floor in Villa II was peeling off. The plumbing is questionable..ie. every time a flush from the master bathroom there was an awful squeal in the pipes. Also, the finish work upon renovation in the master bath was sloppy. Certainly not up to usual Wyndham standards. Our kids had probs w/ a major deafening whistle from the shower in the main bath when used. Enough complaining!

The good stuff...Our 4th floor unit had a great view out over the lagoon to the ocean. The unit was smartly decorated and we appreciated the ceiling fans, TV's, and complimentary WIFI.
The staff was very competent and friendly. We had a nice easy check-in. Our visit from the sales staff was not necessary, but understand it comes w/the territory. Hoodwinked into making a visit to the sales center, but that's another story.

We had friends in another unit and all 9 of us got together for a great dinner in our unit to celebrate New Year's Eve and had a great time! It's the first time in our visit to more than 20 Wyndham resorts that we used all the utensils provided in the kitchen!
Though we didn't engage in any on site activities, our unit was clean and inviting and we found many other diversions while we enjoyed our stay.
