The camp ground is very nice....clean....most staff members were nice and helpful. Unfortunately, we were there during the Harley Davidson spring rally and many of the bikers stayed at the campground.....racing...revving in the campground....all night long. The WiFi and cable was off most of the time.....due to cutting of trees....that was annoying......location was nice.

This KOA is nice, a wooded setting, nice shade, paved roads, nice staff. It's great that you can walk to the beach. We do not tow a vehicle, so we look for areas where there are restaurants, shopping, etc. within walking distance. I would have given this place 5 stars...however, I feel like the staff should warn people about sugar ants. From what we understand there is a certain time of year where the ants are a problem.

We were at this KOA in October, and we were staying 10 days. Things were great until day 6, and we woke up to ants all over...it was horrible...like a horror movie. We called the office and we were told, "oh, yea, the ants are bad this time of year". Had we known this, we would have been prepared with ant traps, spray, or anything else we needed. As it was, we had to walk to the store, which wasn't a big deal except we couldn't get this done in a hurry, 20 minutes to store, 20 minutes back just allows the ants more time to take over. We had to throw out food, clean out cabinets and spray everything. They were marching all over the RV...we are full timers, so this was a feat to go through everything. They were even in our storage area.

The ants climbed up our water hose and entered through there and up the tires. We had ants in the cab. The ONLY place the ants did not invade was our bed. We asked to be moved and that the next spot be sprayed before we got there. We sprayed the spot as well. My husband climbed on top of the RV and sprayed, they were covering the top of the RV. It truly was awful and 6 months later we still found ants.

Of all the RV parks we have stayed at, this is the only one with this problem. So I suggest anyone who is going to stay there to ask if it is ant season. We do not live in the south, so we had no idea this is an issue.

Other than the ant problem, this was a nice RV park.

We (our family of 4) stayed at the Myrtle Beach KOA last weekend and were completely impressed. We arrived after hours only to find out that there had been a mixup in our booking which left us with a camping cabin and no linens. They night park staff was fantastic, insisting that they would not let us stay in a cabin unprepared. They arranged for a different cabin immediately and ensured we were well taken care of before wishing us good night. We found the rest of the staff just as friendly and willing to help.

Our cabin was modest but well outfitted and clean. All the facilities are well kept and clean. Best of all we were within walking distance to many restaurants and the beach. We will certainly be back as this a wonderfully run facility.

The location was great and the was very staff friendly. Plenty of shade, had a pull thru site, it was a little tight for our very long rig. Location was very close to the beach and boardwalk. Lots to do. and many places to eat. We would definitely stay again.

This is a great campground in Myrtle Beach. Spacious sites in a wooded area only a short walk from the beach (about four blocks). We have been coming back here for years. The pool, splash area and jumping pillow keeps everyone in the family happy. Great central location to set up base to explore all the Grand Strand has to offer

My 7 yr old daughter and I arrived mid-day on a Saturday. The check in was quick and the front desk was friendly and informative. Within 10 minutes of setting up the tent, a KOA worker(Joe) came by to check on us and offer us a fire ring for a camp fire or if we had any questions.
The restrooms were clean and were operational. The camp ground was in good shape and very convenient to the beach, amusement park and restaurants.
We look forward to future trips to Myrtle Beach KOA.

We have now arrived home We cant say enough good things on this KOA. The staff are great and so helpful from the Management(Jeramiah) to the front desk staff,(Dottie,Al) to the campsite workers like Brenda,Dave,Ray and lots more.
The campsite is kept spotless if you need anything just ask.It is quiet and safe it is also nice to be able to have a small campsite fire. The issues with golf carts and theft at other campsites in the area is a NO issue here due to the 24 hr staffing.
The future changes in the plans can only improve this park and their is not a lot of room for improvement. Now if they could only get rid of tengo internet. We have already booked for 2015 and cant wait
