It was purely by chance that we booked at the Windsurfer. I had not read over its reviews until now. I feel like it was a good choice and made our week in Myrtle Beach very enjoyable. Our very first night there the sky over the pier lit up with a breathtaking firework display. Everything was in close range of the hotel. My boys are 5 and 7 years old and they loved having the indoor /outdoor pool along with the beach. The elevator in this hotel is shared by all the staff so it does become slow moving and we were on the 9th floor.Overall I would do it again

Love this place, my husband and i have been going here a couple of times a year for about seven years and we love it. The staff is awesome, remember us by name when we call to make our reservations and treat us well while we are there. if we need something, they see it is taken care of and they go out of their way to see that we are well pleased."Ms A" as others have referred to her, is the absolute greatest and treats us like family. If we want an extended stay,or to arrive a day early, she will go out of her way to the very last minute to see that she will be able to accommodate our request. All office staff are incredible as well as the maintainence and housekeeping staff we love them all....will keep going back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Windsurfer.It is a great family hotel and it is right on the beach, and very close to 2nd. avenue pier, which was great. The rooms were clean and the maids were great.The staff was wonderful especially Cynthia and Allen. I have stayed at this hotel for the last 3 years and will continue to stay as long as I vacation in Myrtle Beach.I would recommend this hotel for anyone.The location is great because you can walk to the Ripley's haunted house and other shops along the strip. You also are only about a 10 minute drive from Broadway at The Beach....

Really is a great find right on the beach and really close to 2nd avenue pier. The guest were amazing and friendly. Access to the beach was 20 yards and easy. The pool was indoor/outdoor. The only downside was the elevator. One elevator which sometimes would take awhile. The rooms were clean and well supplied for a kitchen/stove/fridge. Comfy bed! Glad to stumble upon this gem. The front desk personnel were fantastic and helpful with any request (groceries, bus terminal and alternative rooms). Would recommend this hotel which was priced the same with bigger names WAY down the strip (too far from the stuff). Thanks Windsurfer for a great vac!!
