“Gorgeous MB State Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

MB State Park is close to Market Common (former Air Force base) in Myrtle Beach, which is a plus. The state park itself is beautiful and small, but has gorgeous views, trails, bike paths, and a campground, classes, and guided walks, among other things. If you travel in SC, buy a state park pass and save yourself some many. The attendant pointed out to me yesterday that the pass will allow everyone in a 15 passenger van to go through with it! That's a deal. MB State Park is wonderful to see nature, not the fast-paced man-made attractions nearby. After working full time, I used to drive into the park just to relax and watch the ocean! Gorgeous.

“Lovely Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

The entrance fee is $10 (a little high but acceptable) and then you find out that it also includes Huntington Beach State Park as well. Two great parks and reasonably close together for a great day's outing with the family.

“beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

Wonderful beaches and great pier. Campsites are not very close to the beach and they do allow motorcycles to ride through the camp area so don't go during any of the bike weeks. But a most beautiful place to see the Atlantic and spend a few days.

“Pristine Beauty: The Beach and Dunes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Stroll out onto the fishing pier and watch the anglers try their luck, and while you are there, bring a pair of binoculars to view a school of dolphins feeding in the spray; or better yet, try your luck at fishing. The landscape has been untouched except for the salty winds that have sculpted the trees into figures leaning together seeking shelter from the ocean breeze. Relax and enjoy the beach and water away from it all.
