I like it because it is close to boardwalk but not right on it. Also, it is not a huge mega-resort, more of a botique resort, so the pools, lazy river, etc are not jam packed. Staff is personal and friendly. I also like the full sized refrigerator and washer/dryer in the room. Very handy!

This review is a little late but we stayed here for the second time June 2010 (it would only let me chose June 2011 but it was the year prior). We had a wonderful experience the first time back in 2005 and thought we'd try it again. We weren't disappointed at all. This time our kids were 6 and 4 and this is a great place for kids and families. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. We had no issues with cleanliness or service at all. The cleaning staff was very professional and friendly. We had a 1 bedroom and we love the size of it. The kids just slept on the pull out bed on the couch and the wall bed which they thought was the coolest thing. It's so nice having your own kitchen and washer and dryer as well. The pools and lazy river were a lot of fun for our family and we love the location. We love being close to the downtown area to enjoy all the attractions right there. Every evening we'd walk down to do various things. The only downfall with this property is the parking which is not necessarily bad but it can be a bit of a hassle if you can't get in the main lot and you are trying to load or unload and there are no carts available. Other than that we love this hotel! We actually made a return trip to Myrtle Beach July 2011 and would have stayed here again but was offered the use of a friends condo in N. Myrtle Beach instead so tried that for something different. It was really nice as well but we missed being so close to all of our favorite things. Definitely recommend this hotel for families!

Location is perfect can walk to anything. Located right on the ocean our room was a 2bedroom suite which was very nice my only complaint was the 2nd bedroom has 2 beds I slept in both and they were uncomfortable. Tried relaxing my the pool the there are 2 gates 1 to get to the pool and 1 going to the beach they both slam shut and is very distracting when ur trying to relax by the pool so we stayed at the pool abt 30min rest of the time on the ocean. Decent room rate $109 a night for oceanfront suite we looked at some dumps which were $80 a night it was worth the extra $

Roxanne Towers is not the newest of hotels. It is showing its wear around the edges. However it is a bargain. All the units directly face the beach. No "corner views" where you can barely see the ocean. We had a 2 bedroom unit which was the right size for our family of 6. This was our third visit to Myrtle Beach and this was the best place we stayed so far.
