Our stay at Compass Cove was great, even though the weather was not. The room was very nice and clean with a beautiful view of the ocean. We were given the exact room that we had booked even though we arrived a day early. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and always helpful. All of the staff were very polite. The lady at the golf office was just fabulous. She was funny and nice and very helpful. There was lots to do even though the weather kept us off the beach and the golf course, the indoor water facilities were great, enjoyed the pool and the hot tub very much. Also had a great gym (very important to me). We checked out 2 days early because of the weather without a problem, they gave us credit for our 2 nights which we totally plan on using in the spring. It was our first time visiting Myrtle Beach but definitely won't be our last and when we return it will be to Compass Cove.

i have stayed here a total of 5 times. i go down to Myrtle Beach every November. Although not a gleaming new resort hotel, it is always clean, and, has a very high level of friendly service. rooms range from your basic hotel room with an added fridge and stove, to very nice 3 bedroom condos. lots of rooms with direct beach views. lots of water features...pools, lazy river, hot tubs. buffet breakfast is good and included in all golf packages.
Crows nest is their lounge and features cold drinks and bar food. lots of places to chose from in this city, but the service keeps bringing me back.

I just had a great time at Compass Cove. The oceanfront double efficiency was clean, with very comfortable beds and pillows. The view was amazing! The breakfast at Compass Rose was delicious with so much to choose from. Everyone was friendly and helpful. So many swimming pools and several lazy rivers, indoors and out. Everything we needed was right there on location. We did alot of sight seeing but you could easily spend your whole week at this resort and never have to leave the place! Beach access was just steps away! If you want a fun place to swim, exercise and relax or a place where you can just enjoy all of God's creation, you won't be disappointed at Compass Cove. I loved it so much that immediately after check out, I made reservations for next year!!! Thank you Compass Cove and thank You Jesus for a wonderful vacation!!!

My mom and I recently spent 4 nights at the Compass Cove and the wonderful winter rate of 49 plus tax for oceanfront. We had a wonderful view. Not any real issues were noted, excited some workers who were doing work on, i think, the stairwell, we there really late and were singing and being loud. Also, when we got there, they told us we had to park on one of two floors because the rest of the garage was being powerwashed. The next day, we had to move our vehicle so the two floors could be powerwashed. The front desk staff were professional but very dry. But the room was very clean, was cleaned daily and was very well-valued. Would stay here again and would recommend to other guests.
