“Good course in great shape”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013 via mobile

Booked this course thru ambassador golf and it was their recommendation and we were not disappointed. Layout was good, facilities were good as well. Course was in great shape. Pace of play was good. Overall we were pleased and would return if coming to myrtle again.

“Friendly course to play”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

We always like playing MBN West course as it is not inundated with water or houses. The trees catch you if you stray. Approach to the greens tend to be wide open and friendly. A great course for higher handicap golfers but enough of a challenge for good golfers.
However the course is very buzzy as there are 3 courses. So you have to stand around waiting to get loaded and there is no putting green close by like some of the other courses. However once you get going you are less aware of how many other golfers are there at the facility. Course conditions were fine except the greens were hairy which may have been as a result of the heavy heavy rains over the weekend. This was Monday. So maybe they did not have time to cut and or roll them. It was cart paths only and wildly windy with gust to 40 mph. Even with furry greens the ball was moving in the wind.
Despite it beeing a very busy facility compared to say Tradition or Litchfield, we will be back because it is golfer friendly.

“Pre Thanksgiving Outing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

My wife and I planned a mini-vacation at the Beach and played this beautfully maintained course. The fairways are generous , the greens are fast and the staff is courteous and accomodating. The weather cooperated. All this made for a most enjoyable day.

“nice burmuda grass greens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

we played as two couples, and the course is really nice to the ladies. Multiple tee boxes stretch the course for longer hitters, while giving the ladies their due relief. fairways are in great shape and the course is laid out fairly. we played the South Creek course yesterday and both were worth playing again; greens on both courses have the same grass and putt true. The only definable difference is that the South course has houses lining the fairways. The houses did not come into play, but were present. The west course, with no houses, is more serine.

“Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2012

As part of MB Natoinal complex you get the same well maintained course, nice facilities, and courteous staff as Kings North at a lower rate. This layout as well as adjacent South Creek are a bit more playable for golfers of lesser skill levels. This is a good choice for a top flight golf experience at a better price.
