Our family of four had an awesome time! The hotel was in a perfect location. The room and staff were great. The pools were outstanding and the beach was amazing! We’re all excited about our return trip. Highly recommend this hotel!

We had are first trip to Myrtle Beach and really enjoyed it. We celebrated our 25th anniversary. There is a lot to do, but you will need transportation. We stayed at the Holiday Inn - At the Pavillion. The whole staff was very nice to us and helped us out when needed. Our room was clean and we really liked the balcony looking over the beach. We won a free cruise that would takes part way out to the ocean. The boat was awesome. Very nice. We enjoyed the Captain Ryan and crew. They were very nice. I only wish they went further out on the ocean because it was kewl. We definitely want to go back to the Holiday Inn at the Pavillion and win the cruise again.

First, for the amount of money we paid for the room you would figure that you can get parking for more than 1 vehicle. If you have to pay up front than you should not stay away! The rooms were small and there was a problem with the kitchen doors. They both would not close at all. Elevators were hot and at times dirty. There was only one ice machine on the 5th floor for a 10 floor building. Parking as I mentioned, sucked. You had to park your vehicle across the street and even 2 blocks away. And if you have extra vehicle than you had to pray that it was there the next morning. Security sucked at the Hotel. Every day, a bunch of people would sneak in the pools and stay for hours not allowing paying costumers to enjoy it. Security, no where to be found! I had to leave early and they were charging me extra for early check-out. I told them that they could leave the room open as if I was there, I had already paid for that day. They refused and charged me $75 for the early check out and kept the money for the extra day. If you want peace and quiet, this place is not for you. Not only are the streets crowded with noise, also there is a small theme park in front of the hotel and every time the shoot someone up in a sling shot you can hear them scream until midnight! The kids enjoyed the lazy river, until the outsiders came in and took over, but over all, this place sucks. Never will stay there, never. Not worth the money for the rooms and service. Oh yeah, I know its continental breakfast, but this was a joke!!!

The view alone was worth it! Our room was very nice and i can say enough about the friendly staff. It can be a little pricey, but my wife did find 30% off through passportgetaway.com - we had to take a timeshare tour, but it was worth it. There's a lot to do in the area. On Friday nights this summer they have free activities at Pylor Park right next door (used to be the Pavillion). I will definitely be going back!

After a long, long drive we arrived early and to our suprise our room was ready, front desk ladies were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and very cold (air conditioning worked great), the view from the room was outstanding. The location of this hotel is right in the middle of everything shopping, restuarants and literally steps from the beach. My kids loved the pools and they were cleaned every morning, the breakfast was nice, parking was easy. We were also lucky enough to take a cruise on the "Fear Knot" which was beautiful and a great suprise, Thanks Captain Ryan for the awesome experience!! We will go back again.

This was our first stay at Holiday Inn at the Pavilion. The kids absolutely loved the lazy river. I enjoyed the lazy river as well as the other pools. Our rooms were clean and spacious. The air conditioner could have been a little cooler other than that no complaints. The service overall was great. They were always willing to answer questions.
The location was great. We could walk up to the shops and Ripley's.
