“Great Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014

My family and I enjoyed our dinner here. Surprising we were able to get seated immediately. Waitstaff courtesy and prompt. Salads were great. Bread was excellent. Family tried a variety of different meals. Penne was excellent, red sauce very good. Owner personally came by several times to check on us. Nice find in this area of Myrtle Beach!

“Sorry, not a local gem.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

Party of 6, hailing from NJ where we know great Italian food. The calamari was greasy, rubbery and lacking flavor. In fact, most of our food lacked flavor. Penne Vodka was a disappointment. Eggplant Parm killed with a heavy red sauce flavored too much basil that needs refinement. Same for the chicken Parm. The Chicken Francaise was so darn sweet, I was scared it would send my diabetes into overload. They must have used lemonciello which destroyed that buttery-lemon tang one would expect. I'm sorry to post so negatively but with places like Ciao (and even Carrabba's) I won't waste my money again. I really wanted to like this place due to its proximity to the airport. But if you grew up on jarred sauce, you might like it.

“A must...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014 via mobile

Hubby & I ate there yesterday! Waiter was very nice and the owner was seeing to it that everyone was doing well. Our food was delicious (try the crab cakes for appetizer, yumm!) When we visit myrtle beach again, we will be back!

“almost Italy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

It's time to tell folks - Without reserve the finest Italian dining in the Coastal Carolina's. We experienced outstanding preparation, perfect seasonings, balanced portions and impeccable service with each visit. Maggie-D's offers a full wine selection and comprehensive menu and you can enjoy it in a relaxing & pleasant atmosphere. ALso, not featured but without doubt one of the neatest and sharpest staffs and the cleanest restaurant you will experience in the Myrtle Beach area. You'll be delighted in meeting the owner, John, as he stops at every table to ensure your dining experience is good. We're an hour away but plan our travel in the area around lunch or dinner at Maggie-D's.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

Took friends visiting from NJ.We all love Italian food and Maggie D's doesn't dissapoint. The choices on menu were excellent as well as the food and house wine. The 5 of us all had something different and they all came with raves. As we enjoyed our night and dessert the owner walked over and engaged in a very nice conversation and thanked us .Very nice touch and we will definitely be going back!!!!!
