“Amazing!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

We don't usually make it this far south when we visit Myrtle Beach but a trip to Brookgreen Gardens lead us to one of our new favorite places...The Donut Man!! These are simply, the most delicious donuts we have found in Myrtle beach or anywhere! We are from North Carolina, the home of Krispy Kreme and I guess that makes us donut snobs but the problem with this or any other chain is that all the donuts tend to taste alike? But, not here...so many choices, each unique and delicious. Some of our most favorites...Red Velvet Cake, Apple Cinnamon, anything that is Chocolate frosted, as it is actual delicious homemade frosting, not a glaze, the Sour Cream, Sugar Raised. Yes, we tried a lot!! But, every calorie was delicious! Please try to Donut Man next time you are at the beach!!

“Must Try!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Stopped here on Christmas Day because we were looking for a non-smoking place to have an evening meal. Not many places are opened on Christmas day, let alone non-smoking. The family (9) got various subs, coffee specialties, and donuts. Another reviewer said the donuts are a baby from Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts. We ended up taking a dozen with us. Love that they dip the donut in glaze before they use icing on the top. The place was very busy and the staff had not anticipated so many people wanting donuts late on Christmas evening. The staff was very friendly and patient.

“HOW ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS??”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012 via mobile

Most expensive treats on the beach! The doughnuts aren't anything extra special. The coffee is a poor excuse...I've had better in motel lobbies. I just have never seen what draws people to this place like moths to a flame. With KK so close, such a better quality of food and drink. Not to mention at KK you can put on cool hats and watch the entire doughnut making process.....it's much more fun and family friendly at KK.

“Melt in your mouth donuts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

What can you say about a 24-hour donut place with a great variety of delicious donuts that melt in your mouth? Well that is the Donut Man. Now I have to say that this South Philly guy had never heard of this chain (that was born in New England) before moving to Myrtle Beach. Boy, I didn't know what I was missing. The donuts are made all day long, and the racks are always full of delicious delights. The frosted Red Velvet donuts are to die for. Try The Donut Man. You won't be disapointed.

“Modest but excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

The donut batter is excellent. It's an indulgence, because you would weigh tons if you make it a regular place. But the coffee is great and the donuts are above par. My only criticism is that the jelly in the donuts is not real; it's a weird food colored goop.
