“Always a tough course”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2014

This course is the most difficult of the 3 courses at Legends in Myrtle Beach. There is a lot more water, bunkers, and woods than the other 2 courses (Healthland & Parkland). But I had a round with a couple good friends, so no problem. It is definately a challenging round. I did enjoy the course, but the summer South Carolina heat can be brutal. Bring Sunscreen and alot of water.

“Too many blind shots into greens”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

This is a very hard course to play, even when you hit to the right spots on the fairway. At 100 to 150 yards out, you should be able to see the pin, but can't due to all of the hills. You will also get very tired from walking up and down the hills inside the 100 yard no carts area. Many of the pins were put at the edge of the slopes on the greens which insured you of more puts than normal. Of the five Legends courses, this is the one to avoid!!

“Wrong Course for Resort Golf”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

I was really looking forward to playing this course based on it being as it is rated as one of the most difficult courses to play. However as a resort course that you play just once this is a bust. There are too many blind shots and hidden bunkers that just didn't have to be. Play left on your second shot on two. Even a perfect layup to the right fairway leads to a blind short shot and the wrong angle to the green. Watch out for the hidden traps to the right on 3. Don't be left or right on 11 near the green. Short par 5 that is better to layup rather than be near the green with impossible chips.

“Played in a post World Amateur skins game at Moorland - 2013”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Well, I must say this is one of my least favorite golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area, especially at the Legends complex. It is difficult, very difficult. The golf course was in beautiful shape but it has a lot of blind shots. The greens can be ridiculuous if the pin placements are on ridges. Saw a lot of 3 and 4 putts on these greens from our group. The course also plays very, very long.
The Legends Complex is very nice overall. Their clubhouse and grill/bar area is top notch.
