the location and staff were outstanding. the entire 2 bedroom condo needs to be cleaned. Pizza was under the sofa from previous guests. Our wet footprint showed in the kitchen and bathroom.

We needed a fall getaway and got it for a bargain of $49 per night in 1 bedroom penthouse condo with full breakfast each morning. We checked in on Saturday so it was a bit busy and Jordan opened another register to help out when he saw the backup. We got to our room and were pleasantly surprised. The beds were a bit harder than we liked, but we did not see any bugs and the place was clean. We went and bought groceries because we had a full kitchen and sat on the breathtaking balcony to enjoy the views and weather. That Monday we had a full day to explore and Roxy at the desk was so helpful in pointing us to the Brookgreen Gardens. It was well worth the drive and we had a wonderful full day there. Was very hard to leave on Tuesday and go home, so we asked for an extra hour to take one last swim in the heated indoor pool and checked out. Thank you for a Blessed early Birthday getaway! Hate to write too good of a review because we hope to come back again next year and hope this special is still around.

My wife and I needed some time away and the $44/night price along with the pictures of the room seemed to be a great deal. The online photos were probably taken on opening day because it is definately in need of renovations. We noticed immediately that the kitchen was dirty and needed cleaning. Food spilled on the stove, the floor had something spilled on it and not cleaned very well. The refrigerator was rusted all over the outside and quite a bit of mold in the bathroom and shower curtain. The free wi-fi did not work the entire time we were there and the only explination the staff coluld come up with was "it's being worked on"! Great location is the only positive thing I can come up with.

This hotel, while dated, was clean and a wonderful bargain! Great distance for walking, full kitchen in our efficiency, balcony also, and free full breakfast buffet from 7-11am, all for $37 a night?! Yes, please! Hotel staff was helpful, called cabs for my boyfriend and I. Parking is right across the street, not nearly the issue that some reviewers made it out to be. After all, why would you want a giant hotel parking lot taking up space on the oceanfront anyway? There is a perfect size loading/unloading lot. Paige at the front desk was sweet as could be, friendly with all guests in the lobby, even though maning the desk alone. Don't be a prisspot, you're at the beach! Who cares if its the lap of luxury or not, as long as its clean, in a good location andhas good staff. Indoor pool and jacuzzi were fine too. We are from Wilmington, NC, an hour north and home to two other popular beach destinations, Wrightsville and Carolina Beaches, so we are well aware of scams versus bargains, and this is a bargain!
