“A hole-in-the-wall place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

My wife and I had lunch here based on the excellent TripAdvisor reviews. This is a hole-in-the-wall place but is very clean with friendly employees.

We both ordered the Blackened Flounder Platter which was excellent and was only $9 pp.

“Mr Fish, not fancy, just great food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Have been coming to the beach for 40 yrs. and this was some of the best seafood I've eaten. If you are looking for ambience, this is not the place. If you are looking for great seafood, fresh catch of the day etc. come early or be prepared to wait. Even if you have to wait, it's well worth it!

“The Best Fish in Town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Get there early!!! the place fills up fast. Lots of local people go there. If you want a good fish dinner of some sushi this is the place. Small but worth your while. Try lunch when you wont have a waiting line. In the summer you will wait!!! Great place...

“Great seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

We had the fried shrimp and flounder dinners and they were outstanding. As fresh as I've ever had, and at reasonable prices (~$10 for a dinner consisting of fish, fries, slaw). Come early or late, as they are very busy, not surprisingly.

“No Need for Ambiance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

A very plain "hang out" look to this place, including picnic tables outside. Step inside and they have a wonderful souvenir shelf with tee shirts, etc. Still plain wooden table seating, with not much space between them... but excellent food and personable servers. Mandy was my server and gave good suggestions, fully confident of the taste to come.

I particularly enjoyed the Fried Green Tomatoes & Shrimp Tower. Great for sharing a twosome, and got me pretty full as a onesome. Ended up taking my Haddock, Shrimp, Hush Puppies and (daily special) Herb Potatoes to go. Enjoyed them at home in North Carolina.

A group of us tried to go here on the prior Saturday around 6:30 and it was too crowded. I went on Sunday before leaving town. Not crowded, but busy. They do also have a wide variety of bottled beer. I saw wine and sake, at a glance.
