“Perfect Place for a vacation!! Very nice room for the money.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2009

Went for a week with girlfriend and had a great time. The room was very clean and the resort was well taken care of. The pool was nice, the Red Parrot bar in the hotel was also a nice getaway. On the downside is myrtle beach is falling apart! I have been going to MB for 20yrs and this is the worst that i have seen MB! They have torn down the Pavilion and Boardwalk!! Who is in charge of this place!! I hate to see MB go down hill like this, but man it has. If you dont leave the resort you will be ok, but beyond that find another beach to go to.

We book this hotel from hotline.com with only $39 a night we were very wary of it, but it had great reviews and looked so beautiful. We were not disappointed, we were on the 7th floor of the north tower and it had a great view. And we were able to go down to the pool area with the pirate ship and just hang out and lounge all day. Our 4 year old daughter loved every bit of the pool, and when we go back we will be staying here. The hotel was awesome and was in walking distance of a great restaurant The Beach House, which I highly recommend going to while you're down there.

Hotel was very nice, had a great deal buy 3 nights get 2 free. The bed was pretty uncomfortable (way too hard for my liking) but everything else was great. The pool area was great and the Red Parrot bar was a nice break. The only things I would change would to add room service and get new mattresses. I would definitely go back.

Stayed at the Breakers last week (March 11-16) we were having such a great time we extended our stay and stayed an extra night. The pool, the room, the beach all great! I hope to return next year.
We stayed in the Palmetto tower which had just been redone (requested this tower based on a review I read here- thank you!)

We loved the location, we were able to walk to all the restaurants, stores and mini golf we wanted.

The pool and surrounding area was very clean, the staff was constantly cleaning and replacing towels etc.

We stayed here for a long weekend getaway to enjoy the beach and pools. We were in the Palmetto building. Room was clean, but it is a beach hotel, not going to be spotless, carpet/decor a little dated. Some rude guests were overly loud for hours, we finally called security (I hate to do that), they took care of it immediately. All in all a good value for the price.

My wife and I recently came back from staying at the Breakers Palmetto hotel with our 19 month old son. We loved it. We recieved many recommendations from many people to stay here and they were all right. The service was exceellent. We got calls from the front desk to see if we needed anything periodically. The view from the room was great, 11th floor staring at the ocean. The rooms and facilities were very clean and the pools were so much fun. My son especially enjoyed the lazy river and I think so did my wife. The location of the hotel was great sinc it was convenient to go to one of our hotspots (Broadway at the Beach right up 21st ave). This was our first family vacation and the Breakers was the best place the make it a great memory, we will definately stay here again.

Hey! My wife and I just got back from Myrtle beach and we stayed at Breakers resort(south tower). We had reserved a rental car at the airport but ended up returning it cause the hotel was in a convenient location and we didn't feel the need to have the car for 3 days. It cost $16 to get to the hotel from the airport. The room was really clean, the area was safe and the ocean is right in your face! We got there on Saturday and they have happy hour all day $2beers (all beers!!! even CORONA!) and $2.50 for liquor all day weekends only and 4-7 weekdays same happy hour prices. The strip has all kinds of amenities, convenience stores, restaurants etc... all in all wonderful experience try Gilligan's bar while you are there...ENJOY!!
