“Fun for the Kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

We visited the Aquarium and had a great time. My daughter was very excited to get to see the Mermaid Diving Show and get to meet the mermaids. They are only there on Sat. and Sun. until about 5pm so if you want to see them go during that time.

“Just the right size”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Not too big, not to small, just right for a rainy day at the beach. We really enjoy our time here. Up close and personal!

“Very good time, even for adults!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

On our recent visit to Myrtle Beach we decided to visit Ripley's Aquarium. Overall the aquarium is very well designed and fun to visit. The layout was a bit confusing, but we finally figured it out. Standing on the moving walkway and watching the sharks and fish was so much fun. Then there was the area where you could touch and pick up crabs and stingrays, very cool! The entire visit only took less than 2 hours, which gave us time to explore the rest of Broadway at the Beach. The price was maybe a bit high, but it is a tourist attraction and there are living things to care for.

“Include the map”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

We spend $160.00 and they want to charge an extra $1.00 for a map of the aquarium. are you kidding me. For the price of a ticket they could a map. Bad way to start off.

“Overpriced, but fun for kids”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

We (and apparently everyone else in Myrtle Beach that day) recently visited Ripley's Aquarium on a rainy day. It's not a huge aquarium, but does have some nice features. There is a kids play room that our preschoolers enjoyed. We all loved the moving sidewalk through the shark tank, and the touch tank was fun, too. I think it's interesting that they sell lots of dolphin merchandise in their store, but they don't have any dolphins.
We were able to go through the whole aquarium (twice) in just a couple of hours. It was over $40 for my daughter and myself to visit, so that seems like quite a bit for just two hours of entertainment.
