“Best Seafood in Myrtle Beach!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

Best seafood in Myrtle Beach!

This place is a must for our group each and every time we visit the beach. Their selection and quality is unmatched in Myrtle Beach. You will not be disappointed if you give this place a chance, but once you do be prepared to become a frequent visitor!

We began with 2 dozen oysters—Clean/Fresh, and all the usual sides you expect. Without a doubt the best oysters we had in Myrtle Beach.

We then ordered a pound of broiled shrimp for the entire group. The shrimp themselves are very large and they do an excellent job with the seasoning. We went thru these very quickly!

For an entrée my wife and I went with the seafood combo—Fried scallops and shrimp. This comes with fries and hushpuppies. The amount of food they give you is amazing! I also like the fact that the food is fried, but in no form or fashion does it overpower the flavor/taste.

For the amount of business this place does the waiters and waitresses have always been outstanding. Very friendly and frequent your table often. Food is served in a timely manner as well.

Be prepared to wait for seating and most times it’s in the neighborhood of 30+ minutes. You will be waiting outside in the parking lot/bar area, but there are always numerous people to mingle with and the atmosphere is enjoyable.

Find this place and give it a try…… Best seafood in town!

“All around wonderful experience. The oyster shooters are a must!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

This place came highly recommended to us by a few local hotel employees and taxi drivers. We decided to stop in for the Happy Hour drink specials and ended up having dinner. The crab legs were cooked to PERFECTION (from a born and bred NC girl - trust me, this is NO easy task!), the oysters were great, and the service was friendly and fast. My fiancee is not a huge seafood fan, but really enjoyed the fish sandwich he had. As for me, I ended up having a few of their oyster shooters when I found they were the best I'd ever had. If you're expecting fancy decor, you won't be happy. If you're looking for fresh, local, delicious seafood at incredibly reasonably prices then Bimini's is the place for you. We can't wait to go back!

“Big Regret”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

I have a big regret about finally going into this place. I've been driving by Bimini's for years and never went in. I could have been enjoying their great seafood all this time. We ordered a dozen steamed oysters, a dozen fried oysters, boiled shrimp, and mussels. All were great. The fried oysters just may have been the best I have ever had. Perfectly cooked and juicy. They have cold beer, not just a sign that says "Cold Beer". The prices are very reasonable for what you get. Great local atmosphere (even though we were probably all visitors). Quit passing this place by. Stop in.

“Great Seafood and Atmosphere!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Read many of the reviews for this place on Tripadvisor and what a great place it was! Located in a little strip shopping center - who would have thought such a fun a delicious place was right there! Great live music, fun atmosphere at the bar while we waited for our table (about 30 minutes). We had great delicious fresh oysters on the half shell at under $10 a dozen, great steamed shrimp and conch fritters and calamari strips. The conch fritters, while very tasty hardly had any conch in them so we would not order them again. The calamari strips we did not particularly like - they were soft long strips and not the usual chewy calamari we are used to - so not a fan of these either. However, we also had the clam chowder and it was very delicious!
Our youngest boys had the calabash shrimp and the fries were awesome!

Our youngest boys also enjoyed dancing to the live music. We had a great time and would definitely be back whenever we are in this area again. Highly recommended.
