Last week my wife and I drove down to the Dead Dog Saloon for lunch. We ordered the Footlong
Hotdog platter and sat out on the patio watching the boats and jetskis cruise up and down the
waterway. Each time we visit the Myrtle Beach area we make a point to dirve down to Murrells
Inlet just to visit the Dead Dog. On weekends there is live entertainment. After eating you can
stroll the wooden deck walkway for a couple of blocks or more. You can see the boats come in
and out and there are several other places to eat along the walkway. A couple of hundred yards
away is an island with waterfowl, goats, and other wildlife to view.
