This place is great and a great value. Your tickets are good for a whole week. I wish i would have known before we went. We spent a whole day here and can't wait to come back again!!!!!

“Absolutely Breathtaking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2011

There is no way to easily describe how awesome this is. As a 20-something, I thought sculpture gardens would be boring or easily overlooked... I'm so glad I didn't. We ended up going back three seperate times to eat at their little restaurant, as well as ensure we completed the entire tour and saw the zoo, walked the lowcountry trail, etc.

The ticket price you pay is a reasonable $12, even moreso when you see that the tickets are good for six consecutive days, allowing you to return multiple times.

The restaurant is just outstanding. The desserts are wonderful, all the food is fresh, fast, and super. We visited during the off-season of Mrytle Beach so I thought perhaps the quality was so excellent because they weren't swamped, but... not true. The third day we were there (Sunday), it looked like an entire church came for lunch, they were SWAMPED and it was still excellent.

The sculptures themselves, well, you'll have to see how incredible that is yourself. No words to describe it.

“Lovely in the Fall and December!”

What a gem! The pride of Murrells Inlet! Lush gardens, peaceful, and the wildlife zoo was a nice addition.

“Two great days!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2011

We spent two days here and enjoyed the sculpture tour with guide, Don Brooks. The boat tour would have been better if the driver had stopped to give us a photo op for the only alligator we saw. The guide was good, but the driver seemed to only want to get back to dock.
The animal class was excellent and the gal did a great job.
The zoo walk was also interesting.
I highly recommend this attraction.

“Don't miss a visit to Brookgreen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2011

Brookgreen Gardens is without a doubt one of the finest attractions in the Myrtle Beach area. The gardens are phenomenal with a broad range of flowers, trees and vegetation. Throughout the grounds are sculptures by some of the finest and well known artists.

In addition, one gets a good introduction to the issues of slavery and the plantation economy. Paid admission grants access to the grounds for six consecutive days.
