“Finals of Golf.com World Amateur 2012”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

Played the TPC of Myrtle Beach in the Finals of the Golf.com World Amateur 2012. Unfortunately, the course had gotten over 20 something inches of rain in the days and weeks leading up to the tournament so it was not in the best of shape. I had played the TPC before and really like the course. Considering all the rain, the course was in as good a condition as they could get it. The staff there is excellent, the food was very good, drinks were good. Just wish the golf course could have been not so wet but that is not the fault of the TPC. If you have never played the TPC, you should play it if in the MB area.

“Great layout, but wet conditions were ludicrous.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012 via mobile

Great layout, but wet conditions were ludicrous. These fairways were unplayable on most spots and the staff just went about business like this was par for the course. Pricey course to begin with and these conditions were poor. Bright spots were bag drop both arriving and leaving. Greens putt excellent. Pro shop attendent in afternnon was arrogant and obviously needs training in how to speak to people at a high end club. But maybe this place is not high end. Advice is if its rained recently a lot don't waste money here.

“Nice place to play!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

the tpc course is very well laid out and is certainly a challenge at times. The course was in very good shape, greens were quick but not super fast. I was a bit surprised that the greens were not "super great"....they were nice but a notch below what I expected from a tpc course. we were treated very nicely and all in all had a nice experience visiting this golf course. if you dont mind paying a bit more to play then this is a course I would recommend to visit.

“So so”

Wasnt crazy for this course. Inexplicably soaked. Turf was like oatmeal for some reason. Design is ok.... Not much of a tpc.
