“Great and filling breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

I had a dish that included sausage, biscuits n gravy, eggs, and grits. Very very good. My wife had a seafood omlet that she loved. As usual, TA ratings were on the mark.

“An Enjoyable Breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

We decided to eat here because of other favorable reviews and were NOT disappointed! Recommend Andrew's Special with the Chippers. Food, service, and experience was wonderful. We will return the next time we visit the Charleston area.

“A littled disappointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

We decided to skip our hotel's buffet in favor of a place with a healthy type breakfast, so we chose Charleston's Cafe because they served oatmeal, and because of the good reviews they've received on TA. The oatmeal was good and tasted like it was slow-cooked, not the instant type. I asked for a little milk on the side to top it off, but was charged $1.75 for a scant two ounces of milk. If I had known, I would have just ordered a full glass since it was $2. The disappointment came when I asked for wheat toast and was told they do not serve bread, only biscuits. We had to remind our server to bring the biscuits, and then again to bring the bananas that came with the oatmeal, Overall, the restaurant seemed average in every way, nothing special, and a little pricey for what you get.

“There is Nowhere Else for Breakfast..........”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

.... they even come out the door and greet you on the sidewalk. Pretty cool idea. You've probably read all about where this place is, etc, so I'll concentrate on the food. You won't be eating any warmed up frozen food here. Everything is home made right down to the corned beef in the hash. It's one of those places where you want to get everything on the menu since it all sounds so good. I settled for the Edisto Island breakfast bowl with shrimp & smoked sausage topped with spicy tomato cream sauce. It also had a layer of sliced crispy potatoes and onions and green peppers.... just ridiculously good. Everything tasted homemade. Frankly, I could go on and on. But you know how good breakfast tastes when you're on vacation. Pricing is fine, exactly what you would expect, not too pricey.Try this place.
