We visit Opal about every 6 weeks, and have been doing so for a couple of years now. Once again, I just can't believe how incredibly delicious everything was! I had the Grouper, which was absolutely outstanding! It was pan seared, and came out juicy on the inside, but had a beautiful, thin golden crust on the outside. I would never be able to pull that off because the piece was really thick, so that had that one down! The charcuterie was phenomenal. It is nice to be able to choose what meats and cheeses you would like, and the relishes are fantastic. The wines are great, and reasonably priced. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Mount Pleasant, as it is comparable to higher-end spots in downtown Charleston. Awesome date night, Opal! Thanks!
