We recently took our son and nephew to Patriots Point to see the USS Yorktown. We were very pleased with our stay at Best Western. It is in an excellent location for exploring both Mt. Pleasant and Charleston SC. We had a room on the first floor near the pool which worked out very well for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful with area attractions, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfy and the price was right!!! Would highly recommend this hotel!

I would recommend this hotel. It was clean and the staff were pleasant and attentive. I had read other reviews about smelling smoke in the halls and we did not find this. The location is excellent and an overall good value.

We booked ourselves into this Best Western because we were attending the PGA Championship on Kiawah Island and wanted to be close by and not spend a fortune to do it! It turned out that we also decided to play golf at Patriot Point Links just down the street from the BW, which was great!
We were very pleased with our accommodations. We had no noise issues whatsoever, had a nice breakfast in the a.m. and were very kindly treated by the Hotel personnel. There were casual restaurants a quick car ride away. Cost at BW was not cheap, but I assume it was up because of the tournament.

This property is not a BW Plus accommodation so I did expect new and spacious rooms. Having said that know the fixable things were not attended to. For example, the breakfast fare is very poor during our stay (no fresh fruit, yogurt , or bkfst meat, one day there were no eggs, however they did have two waffle makers.) The pool needed attention at times, and the front desk staff need an attitude adjustment. The property is very close to good food and attractions so this property should be consider. Hopefully things will be better upon your arrival.
