The dishes were very authentic and prepared with imported ingredients. The pizza (great crust!) was very good, as was that evenings seafood pasta special. The pasta and pesto were both storemade. The wait staff was OK but was a bit too casual given the quality of the food (left my app. plate and told me use it for the shrimp tails, a few too many "dude" comments but it was obvious they love their jobs, when finished the bus guy said "was everything awesome?" when we said yes, he said, "great, we really don't want to settle for anything less" it was genuine, not fake). Only bottled water and soft drinks available are available for non-alcohol, which is OK for the soda but having to buy an extra bottled water if you are thirsty from a hot Charleston day just doesn't seem right. Wine by the glass was all Italian, and we enjoyed both our white (wife) and red (husband) selections. You pay as you leave which gave us the chance to talk to the Italy born owner, she was very nice. We really wanted to try the housemade desserts but didn't have room, they looked amazing! Restaurant is in a retail strip instead of stand alone but don't be fooled by entrance...it's cozy inside with a decent atmosphere.
