Went to 17 North to meet another couple on a Monday night, the low-key vibe of the outside and the large outdoor area was very inviting, but inside the place was empty and the staff was average. We sat at the bar waiting for our friends and even though we were the only ones at the bar at that point, the gal behind the bar was slow and not chatty, and the wine choices were either unavailable or limited at best. For dinner we sat inside at a little booth, the waitress seemed sweet but the beer ran out (seriously) and the other choices were again limited. At one point I think she forgot we were there and had drinks coming. The menu is VERY simple, meaning not a good variety of choices, and the food was really so-so. Something is missing here, and I am not sure what exactly it is.
