What a great place to stay; we even stayed a few extra nights. The king bed in our room was so soft; you can tell it was a very high quality mattress. Our room was lovely and immaculate. Steve was very pleasant and welcoming his wife Phyllis was very sweet. The full breakfast was so, so good. Phyllis bakes such wonderful cookies for a snack. Kelly the girl who works at the inn is so sweet and she is a hard worker. Kelly kept our room and the inn immaculate; you could tell she took pride in the inn. We relaxed in the common areas which are very inviting and relaxing. Thank you Steve , Phyllis and Kelly for making our stay one to remember with fond memories.
We loved the fact that this is an adult only inn; big plus for us.

From the time owner Steve greeted us with a smile and delicious freshly baked strawberry sugar cookies, to helping us carry luggage upstairs, and giving us a tour of the house as if it were our own - I cannot say enough about this hidden gem located shortly from Charleston. We stayed in the cotton room & our room was poshly elegant with plush bedding and private bathroom opposite our room. The dock over the marsh was a beautiful sight to behold. Steve made us tasty steak medallions and chive eggs, freshly cut fruit, biscuits, cinnamon buns and delicious coffee. Breakfast was decadent. The only thing better than the house and food was the genuine courtesy, kindness, and southern manners of the owners. I can't say enough about this B&B, it was just like heaven.

We stayed here last minute to go to a concert at Boone Hall Plantation. It turns out its right next door! Great location. The innkeepers Steve and Phyllis are very friendly, the rooms were nice and clean, bathrooms too. They served a great breakfast with plenty of coffee.
The river dock goes out far and the view is wonderful. Bring a bottle of wine and your honey out there and she will love you for it. 2 nice high back chairs to sit and enjoy he view. Ample parking. The only drawback to the place is the driveway. It's on a busy road. Gotta be quick in and out. Other than that, its perfect!!!!

Plantation Oaks Inn made for a wonderful retreat. Lovely decor, fabulous breakfasts, great mattress, sparkling clean, plenty of peace and quiet (we did not hear another guest even when the inn was fully occupied), relaxing grounds. The covered verandah on the second floor was so nice for reading and talking. Watching over the marsh at sunset was a special treat. I would return to the POI in a heartbeat.
