We went on a 5 day cruise out of Charleston just after Thanksgiving. We had decided to take advantage of the Hampton Inn's package of a room and ride to the port while keeping our vehicle there. It was a great decision.

We arrived on Thanksgiving and were put in a lovely suite (had requested a suite.) We got food at the BiLo next door and after munching on the beach, heated up dinners later in the suite. Had a nice breakfast the next morning, left our vehicle, and were transported to the pier in plenty of time to be one of the first 200 or so on the ship, allowing us to get going on our cruising right away.

Upon our return, our driver was waiting for us and we got back to the hotel by about 9 or so. I asked what the availability of rooms was and the kind desk worker (I think she was a supervisor) offered us a queen suite already clean for a very decent price. We got to check right in and they even allowed us to get breakfast since they were still open. We enjoyed a leisurely day and some time downtown, a night's sleep and another breakfast the next day before checking out. A nice way to wind down from an active but enjoyable cruise!

Each morning Isabelle greeting us warmly at the breakfast area and we found out that the hotel was about 15 years old. We were impressed. They have kept this place up very well. Our vehicle was safe and sound at the hotel and the price we paid for the room and parking and breakfast was reasonable and fair.

We would not hesitate to come to this hotel again and highly recommend the stay and sail service!

The staff is so friendly & helpful. Breakfast bar has good selections. Rooms are clean and the beds are so comfy! The hotel is located in the plaza of shops & a 24 hr. grocery store all w/i walking distance. Easy access to hwys going to dwntn , beaches, historic district. Allow time because of road construction. Very enjoyable w/e visit!

It was nice to get up and have to leave at 5 am and have the breakfast staff be as welcoming as a family member saying Good Morning and mean it! We all dont always like getting up so early to travel but they made it feel fun.

Love staying at this hotel! Excellent location to restaurants, groceries, movies, shopping and the beach. The staff is always so helpful and you could not ask for a better breakfast. The rooms, pool and exercise room are all exceptionally clean, we wouldn't think of staying any where else.
