This is up in Moncks Corner, so it is more for locals and day trippers than people from way off. It is right on the Tailrace Canal, which dumps water from Lake Moultrie into the Cooper River system. The old canal is interesting because of how small it is. There is an old house there and a museum as well. Normally, I like to go just to walk through the woods and enjoy nature. Be aware, if it is wet or has just rained, much of the hiking trails turn boggy.
