Room was clean with clean and soft towels and clean sheets on bed. Pillows were small but not too comfortable and breakfast needs lots of attention far as an employee refilling empty items . Many items needed to be refilled. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We used yelp to find a great restaurant for dinner which was about one mile away. Would stop there again.

price is what I'd expect to pay but we paid a very low sexy price. Very clean, not the slightest smell at all, an impeccably made bed and room, deserves a nice tip even. There's a good sized mini fridge with a clean freezer area to refreeze the portable ice blocks we carry. We'd give this place a 5 however the tub didn't drain much but the in-room jacuzzi did, 2 pillows were a bit lumpy, it doesn't appear they'll ever get their pool running again and mostly an all carb breakfast but there is a bit of fruit, thanks. This is offset but the low priced room. We'd like to come back and try one of their about $50. rooms w/coupon. We paid about $19. more for the jacuzzi suite. It had a table and 2 chairs so sipping wine here was romantic. The desk staff was very english speaking and definately an asset. The towels weren't hard but weren't soft as they could be either. If you get the jacuzzi suite do get the beach towels BEFORE you retire for the evening as there are no towels in the room with which to dry once you are finished the jacuzzi. This is assuming you've already showered and used the 1 bath towel to dry off. As we didn't do that you'd need to go from the shower directly wet to a full jacuzzi. You'd need to start filling uo the jacuzzi up 20 minutes beforehand so be forewarned.

Room Tip: Get the towels for your in-room jacuzzi when you check-in and start filling the jacuzzi ASAP as it...

Bathtub drain was blocked; didn't drain at all. Tried to dig hair out, plunge it; didn't make it work any better. Internet worked fine when we checked in at midnight, but in the morning, there was no network signal on any of the hotel's 3 networks. I tried calling the front desk several times over the course of one hour, and no one answered. When we went to check out, I said the internet was down, and we had tried calling to ask them to re-start the router. Desk clerk said she would give me a 1-800 number to call tech services. I said it didn't do me any good at that point, as we were checking out and driving away. I said I needed it an hour ago and no one had answered the front desk phone. When I walked into the lobby, she had been sitting on the guest computer, and got up to come to the front desk to check us out. So she had been there in the lobby but hadn't answered the phone. I asked if she would please give us a $10 discount on the room, seeing as we had chosen that Ramada because it had free internet service, then it wasn't working. She said no discount, as the internet was working fine, that her front desk computer was on and running the internet. I said maybe the router needed to be re-set, and she said it wasn't the router, that I needed to call a tech number to find out the problem. It was ridiculous, that she had no answer for why the front desk computer internet worked but not in the rooms, when it had worked fine the night before. She was quite rude, and I will not stay in a Ramada again.

We were staying at the Quality inn across the road. After one night in the crappy place we moved to the Ramada. I couldn't believe the difference. For less money we are getting three times the room. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. For our work we need quite. Quite is what we get. The rooms are a great size and we don't feel like we're in a box. The staff is exceptional. The breakfast is adequate for what we need and is well maintained. The fruits are fresh daily. Housekeeping set the tone for the experience. Everyday when we come in she has done something different to the room like on a cruise ship. Always interesting to see what she comes up with next. We are planning on coming back to the Astra after we finish out work for vacation. We have really enjoyed your hotel. Thank you for setting the bar for the others in the area. Oh and btw. Don't book a room at the Quality Inn unless you like being unsatisfied.
