“What a night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2011

Went to the brentwood for New Years with family. We were seated in a private room upstairs with a glowing fireplace. The adults ordered the five course dinner and kids ate off the al a cart menu. Dinner was devine, the only thing better than the food was our waiter Paul. We had 4 adults and 8 children, he made us feel like family. We will go back just to see him. Well worth every cent.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2011

Been to Brentwood several times because we enjoy dining there very much. Christmas dinner was superb and the service was outstanding. Not only is the food delicious, but there is an excellent wine list as well. We cannot say enough about how we enjoy The Brentwood and we recommend dining there especially on a special occasion.

“Excellent food, superb service and atmosphere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2010

My family and a friend of ours had a wonderful dinner friday night at the Brentwood. The food was out of this world and the service was superb. Paul, who waited on us and has done so many times is a true professional, times our courses perfectly and adds to a perfect dining experience!. We had the filet and lobster, duck, rack of lamb and shrimp and scallops and all four dishes could not have been prepared any better. Eric who is the owner came by the table as usual to check if all was well and chatted while George who plays keyboards and sings on friday and saturday nights played in the background adding a really nice touch to this great dining experience. I recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a a truly fine dining experience with one of the best staff on the beach. Kudos to Paul, Eric, George and the rest of the staff at The Brentwood!

“A Really Bad Experience”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2010

My wife and a friend had previously been to this restaurant and had a very nice dinner. While the food on a different night and with a different waiter might be ok, this night with Paul as our waiter was awful. He was so out of it that he could barely function. Needless to say the service was awful, slow, & surly and it ruined the evening.

“Wonderful evening at the Brentwood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2010

My husband and I were drving to Myrtle Beach from Ocean Isle and saw the Brentwood. We saw that walk-ins were welcome so we stopped for a nice dinner, A nice young man approached our table and introdued himself as Jeff. Jeff asked if this was out first time to the Brentwood and then precedded to tell us the history of the Brentwood and its Owner and Chef Eric Maison.

Jeff suggested a giant prawn featured appetizer which was huge and delicious! He then suggested a local flounder oscar special as an entree, it was wonderful. We finished.our meal with a mango-strawberry charlotte that Jeff recommended. It was fabulous.

We shall return for the great food and atmosphere but mainly for the warm personable service and knowledable advice our server Jeff provided. We shall also tell all our friends..
