“Sensational and Testing Course - Play in The Fall!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

Beautiful course with some holes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean - quite testing at times but a joy to play there.

“Good deceiving course designed by Nicklaus”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

This Nicklaus designed course is challenging eventhough it seems straightforward. Several of the par 3s are quite challenging but water seems to be everywhere, so be wary. The greens were tricky but not overly difficult as the Ocean Course.
As an fyi, you get a cart but there are no caddies offered. It is a very nice resort course and worth a round if you are in Kiawah

“Nice resort course for the straight hitter.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013 via mobile

The Niclaus designed Turtle Point Course at Kiawah Island winds through coastal wetlands and neighborhoods. They boast 3 ocean holes but the 2 mid length par 3's and a short par four are not the highlight of the round and really feel crammed in. They do however signal the start of some tough and dramatic finishing holes.

The course is tight with an abundance of water and out of bounds. The greens complexes are relatively tame however and a golfer who keeps their ball in play can expect to score well.

Durring our morning round we saw an abundance of wildlife from gators to deer as well as a many species of herons and egrets.

The service isn't as over the top as you find at the ocean course but neither is the price.

“Amazing course withmvery friendly people!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

Played the course with my wife aand we had a great time! Very friendly welcome, good service and the starter was very supportive. Oberall the holes are well designed and offer a lot of fun! Watch out for the alligators - got close to one while playing...
Holes at the ocean side could be more impressive - especially tje two par 3....

Great course and well worth a try!
